Standing on the top of my dreams,
I've waited for the sunset to come
And as the darkness kisses the lips of the sky,
The sun burns my smile
Yet, I stood with great hope
of finding what I've longed for years
that the moon will light the 12fth of night,
and a candle shall hide no tears
I took a peek under a telescope
But I saw nothing at all
So I pulled my anchor up
And got off of my shore
Searching for the brightest pearl,
I sailed across the milky way
With a compass and a map on hand,
One step day by day
Laughter fills my heart with gaiety
While sorrow bites my soul
The clock runs against its usual
But I won't take the fall
The mystery remains unwritten
and things are yet the same
Unless my dreams are totally bitten,
I won't stop the game
Though the universe may has its laws,
So then I built my own
Gravity may pull me to bottom,
But the wind will blow me home
I couldn't stay a single day
Staring up at a moonless sky
Where all the ashes of gold glitter
And fluffy cotton candies lie
Several times I thought and ponder
To take it all at once
A mask to wear a starry night
Miles may be the distance
I prayed for the sun to freeze the day ---
To hear the words unsung
I'll cease the clouds to fall no drops
Back to where I belong
To taste the sweetest of all the failures,
I took off my own skin
I closed my eyes for quite too long
Embracing what's within
So then I came to a realization:
Why to wait for the moon to shine?
Looking up to the constellations,
I was longing for something that is already mine
Meteors may drop and hit my knees
Shooting stars may pass me by
the sun may fail to light the night
But the one who shines the brightest is I
So I'll glaze tomorrow's depths and heights
Shadows may cut the sharpest knife
But Like the moon in the middle of the night,
I'll shine at the darkest hour of my life
