A/N: For those of you wondering; we are heading into what would be the second season of Sons of Anarchy.

I awoke on Opie's couch with Jax laying in the chair. I sat up to see Ellie standing in front of me.

"Oh honey, how are you?" I questioned as I quickly sat up and pulled her to my side. Ellie didn't even respond while tears streamed down her face. "It's okay," I whispered while clutching her to my chest. I looked up to see Opie standing there with the tears on his cheeks and tiredness in his eyes.

"I'll take her," Opie said without a bit of emotion in it. I shook my head with a small smile on my face.

"I don't mind. You should get a shower, we got a big day ahead of us," I smiled at Opie as he just started back at me.

"It's okay. Ellie comes on," Ellie stood up from my arms and walked over to her fathers. By this time Jax had awoken.

"Hey, man. How are you feeling?" Jax questioned while turning towards Opie.

"Numb." Was all Opie said before taking Ellie down the hall and to her room.

Jax sighed before turning to me. "How'd you sleep?" Jax questioned as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Alright, I guess... I guess I just can't get over that she's dead," I said with a frown. Jax nodded as he stood up and walked over to where I was sitting before taking a seat. Jax reached over and wrapped his arms around me.

"It'll be alright, we need to go get ready," I nodded while we stood up and headed for the door as Jax yelled out Ope that we were leaving. We walked out of Ope's house and over to Jax's bike. I climbed onto Jax's bike before laying my head on Jax's back. The ride went by in a daze and before I knew it we were at the club. I ignored everyone while I climbed off the bike and headed right for the Jax and I's shared dorm.

I walked to the shower, before stripping down and climbing into the shower.

Jax's POV:

I watched (Y/N) go to the club without speaking to a soul.

"How is she?" Chibs questioned as I climbed off my bike. I glanced at the club one last time before answering.

"She's upset and pissed," I said while laying my helmet on the handlebars of my bike before walking to the club with Chibs. "We crashed on Ope's couch after we left the scene." Chibs nodded.

"Poor Lassie, she's known only pain, loss and heartbreak." I nodded in agreement before holding the door open for him as he walked in.

"I'll talk to you later; I'm going to go check on her," I said before heading off down the hall to our shared dorm. I walked into the dorm to see the bathroom door shut and the sound of rushing water in the air. I sighed before heading over to one of my dressers and grabbing a change of clothes. Once, I was changed I heard the water shut off and the curtain opens before the sound of soft cries coming from the bathroom. I pushed open the door to see (Y/N) with a towel wrapped around her, sitting on the edge of the bathtub with tears streaming down her face. I didn't say anything as I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her.

(Y/N) jumped at first before comforting herself into my chest.

"I don't know if I can do this." She said with a sniffle as she looked up to meet my gaze.

"You can and you will. You have to do it for Opie." (Y/N) nodded before standing up and wiping away the tears.

"Alright." (Y/N) walked out to the dorm before grabbing a change of clothes. As I leaned in the bathroom door, watching her. I noticed the different scars that flawed her skin. My heart ached to know they were from that douche in New York. I was torn from my thoughts as (Y/N) walked over to me.
