The New Soon To Be Daddy

JD PARKED HIS car outside the house and immediately went out. He gave the keys to their parking valet and also their personal driver if he doesn't want to drive if he wants to just hug his woman that his parents hired for them.

Hindi na dapat kailangan pero dahil hindi na siya nakaangal nang dumating si Rico kaya hinayaan na lang niya. And besides, na fifeel na niya ang presensiya nito kapag umuuwi sila ni Welcy doon kagaya ngayon. He is obviously younger by him and Welcy of five years.

A great dude, smart lad, and tall and a very good looking guy. Naalala niya noon na habang naglilinis ito ng kotse niya ay may mga babaeng kaedad lang nito ang napapatingin rito. Who wouldn't, he's just really handsome.

"Good evening, sir," bati nito.

Tumango siya at tinapik ito sa balikat. "Si Welcy andiyan na?"

"Opo. Kasama si Manang Shena."

Napaangat ang kilay niya. Andito ang yaya ng asawa niya? Bakit kaya?

Yaya Shena is Welcy's nanny for almost seventeen years before Welcy went home in Seoul to study when they were in highschool.

But he never met the lady until their visit sa Canada nang mag bakasyon sila noong doon.

"Sige, salamat. Ikaw na ang bahala diyan."

"Opo."

Pumasok na siya sa loob. Nasa pinto pa lang siya ay rinig na niya ang boses ng asawa.

He laugh lightly and made his way inside the kitchen. He lean on the wall, his body half hidden so he can go unnoticed.

Welcy is busy mixing some ingredients in the bowl as Yaya Shena is helping her. As soon as she is done, she put in the mixture in the baking platter and then to the oven.

"Naku, ikaw ha. Ako na diyan, umupo ka na," ani Yaya Shena.

"Yaya naman. Ang dami niyan, tutulong ako."

"Hindi. Maupo ka na. Naku kapag andito si JD, ako ang pagagalitan. Nasaan na ba yang asawa mo?"

Napangiti siya at saka dahan-dahang pumasok. Dahil nakatalikod ang mga ito sa kanya ay hindi siya mapapansin.

Agad na hinapit niya sa baywang ang asawa kaya napasinghap ito habang napasigaw naman si Yaya Shena.

"Naman! Papatayin mo ako sa gulat. Batang to," anito at saka hinampas siya sa braso.

JD and Welcy laugh at the lady. He kiss her on the cheeks lightly and she look up to him and smile.

"Kanina ka pa?"

"Not so."

"Pwede ba, doon na kayo sa sala. Ako na dito," sabi ni Yaya Shena.

"Yaya sure ka? Tawagin niyo na lang ako kapag pwede na yung cupcakes," ani ng asawa niya.

"Oo na. Sige na at magmoment na kayo."

Napailing si JD at saka natawa. Hinalikan naman ni Welcy sa pisngi ang ginang bago sumunod sa kanya.

"Hon, pasensya ka na kung dito tayo ngayon ha. Gusto ko sana sa dorm din kaso may mga tao doon. Inaayos kasi yung mga aircon at heater namin. Sina Jane at Yassy umuwi na lang muna ganoon din sina Ate Ivine at Sands," anito.

"It's okay. I like it here more. More time with you."

Welcy laugh and slapped him in the shoulder.

Ngumiti siya at hinawakan niya ang kamay nito at saka inakay ito papasok ng theater room. He turn on the lights as Welcy made her way down the chairs.

Out of all places in the house, the theater is his favorite. It has everything he want if relaxation is the topic.

Bumaba na rin siya habang binuksan ni Welcy ang 98-inch flat screen TV. Tumabi siya sa asawa niya sa couch at agad namang yumakap ito sa kanya.

He smile and look at her for she cuddle to his neck. She even smell his scent there. "Hon, you're acting weird. Bakit ang clingy-clingy mo?"

"Hmm," anito at dinampian ng magaang halik ang pisngi niya bago siya tiningnan.

"What?" he ask as she stare at him and then smile like a fool. A gorgeous fool.

"I have something to say."

"What is it?"

His wife smile at him and put her hand inside the pocket of her shorts. He saw something in white but he was not sure what exactly because she still hid it her palm.

Welcy look at him again and then kiss him on the cheeks lightly. His forehead creased but he's still smiling as he look at her with curiosity.

"You seem odd today. What's happening?" he ask.

Natawa ito ng magaan. "I'm sure you'll gonna love this."

"Hon, can you just tell me? Kinakabahan naman ako sayo eh."

Welcy laugh lighty again and then nod. "Okay. Here."

Yumuko siya upang tingnan ang ibinigay nito sa kanya. Isang maliit na aparato na kulay puti at may nakita siyang dalawang linya sa maliit na monitor sa gitna.

Naguguluhan siya dahil hindi niya alam kung ano iyon. Not even a single clue.

Seriously dude? You don't know what is that?

"This is?"

"I'm three weeks delayed, JD. At first, I wasn't so sure but then I went to see an OB, and she said that I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Magkakababy na tayo!"

Sukat marinig iyon ay nanlaki ang mga mata niya, hindi niya alam kung ano ang sasabihin. He was caught off guard by that wonderful news!

Welcy is pregnant, she's carrying my child, I'm going to be a father!

"Hey, say something. Are you okay?" Welcy ask and caress his cheek and laugh lightly. "JD."

He blink again. "I-I'm going t-to be a f-father?"

Ngumiti ang asawa niya at saka tumango. "Yes. Yes, you will."

Niyakap niya ito ng napakahigpit. Natawa ito ng magaan na lalong nagpaiyak sa kanya. It's rather tears of joy.

Gumanti ito ng yakap. They stayed like that for a few minutes before he look at her. Welcy smile gently as she wipe the tears in his eyes.

"This is just a great news, hon. Nawala ang lahat ng pagod ko. This is just, oh man, I cannot believe this. I'm going to be a father!"

Welcy laugh and nod. "I'm more than happy too when I confirmed it."

He cup her face and kiss her on the forehead, down to her eyes, nose and then he look at her lovingly. He smile lightly as he caress her face with his thumbs.

"I want to brag it, to tell the whole world about it. That God has given us the chance to be a parent."

Welcy smile and laugh gently before kissing him on the lips. Quick but sweet.

"I won't stop you. I'll tell my groupmates about it as well. Pati na sa mga magulang natin."

He nod and smile. Niyakap niya ito. "Thank you, hon. I promise I'll do my best to be a good father to our upcoming angel and a husband to you. Lahat gagawin ko para sa inyo."

Kumawala ito sa yakap niya at tiningnan siya. Welcy smile and caress his face again.

"You're not alone in this, JD. Were in this together. Don't let the burden be on you alone, though ako talaga ang may burden."

He laugh lightly after she said that. JD nod and kiss her on the lips.

"I love you, Wels. So much."

"I love you too, hon."

Muli silang nagyakap, hindi alam kung gaano katagal. He doesn't care, for as long as Welcy is on his arms, he wouldn't mind at all.
