Potion of Love

Chapter 1

"Ashlie? You in here?" Uni asked, knocking on Ashlie's bedroom door. Uni shrugged, and went inside the room. He decided to snoop around the room, maybe steal one of those cool potions Ashlie's always working on.

He stumbled upon a chest hidden underneath carpet, and opened it. Inside, he found a mysterious pink elixir in a bottle, and smirked. Nice.

Now, what could he do with this potion?

"Hey, Uni! I'm going to go through your stuff!" Tommy yelled from somewhere in the house they were staying in. Uni growled. He'd use on Tommy, who was always messing up this things and being a little blood sucker.

Uni figured a plan. He'd pour at least half the bottle into his cup during dinner that night, and make an excuse for Tommy to leave the room for a bit.

Before dinner, Uni went over to the drinks set on the table. Tommy always sat at least two seats away on the right, so Uni went to pour the potion.

Ashlie burst through the door, and Uni accidently used the whole potion in the cup. He quickly hid the bottle behind his back and into his pocket, and Ashlie came over to him.

"Where's the food? I'm starving!" Ashlie complained, and he shrugged.

"It'll come out soon, just, sit down." Uni said, and she nodded. Ashlie sat down in the seat right next to the drink with the poison. Alright, as long as Tommy sat there, everything would be okay.

Uni completely forgot about the potion in the drink until they said cheers to defeating another monster boss.

That's when he realized Nick had the cup with the potion in hand. He couldn't say anything now! Or maybe he should? Oh no, this was bad!

"Uni? You okay?" Nick asked, and Uni nodded quickly.

"Uhh, yep! Everything is alright! Yes! Absolutely great!" Uni was sweating like a mad man, or, mad pug. Nick shrugged, and took a sip of his drink.

Nick began to cough, and everybody looked at him with concern. "Augh, my eyes!" Nick yelled, covering them with his palms. Nick stood up and wobbled his way over to the diner room door blindly, and everybody panicked.

Tommy got up and rushed over to Nick, grabbing his wrists and pulled his hands away from his face. He cupped Nick's face in his hands and wiped the tears away with his thumbs, and looked him straight in the eyes.

"Nick, look at me, c'mon pal, take some deep breaths. Ashlie, can you get a different drink for him?"

"The only drink I need is you, you tall glass of handsome."

Silence filled the room, and Nick seemed completely fine. Tommy broke the silence. "What did you say?" He asked slowly.

"Tommy, has anybody- no, have I ever told you how handsome you are?" Nick giggled, and hugged Tommy's arm.

"What was in Nick's drink?" Dawn asked, lifting up the cup. "I'll test it out in my uh, lab. Ashlie, can you come with me?" Ashlie nodded, and left the dining room with Dawn.

Uni finaly realized what he put in the drink meant for Tommy, it was a love potion, and Nick ended up falling in love with the first person he saw: Tommy.

Uni was talking with Dawn, Ashlie, and Tommy in Dawn's lab, discussing what to do with Nick.

"I mean, he seems pretty normal, he's just, really in love with Tommy." Ashlie said, and they nodded.

"But we still need to reverse whatever this was, I mean, I can't have Nick trying to kiss me or flirt with me for the rest of my life." Tommy added to the conversation, and Dawn made a interesting 'hmm.'

"What is it, Dawn?" Uni asked.

"It seems like somebody slipped a potion into his drink. Ashlie, do you recognize these ingredients?" Dawn showed her data on a computer screen.

"Yeah, it was definitely a love potion. I know I had one in my room, since I knew somebody would mess with it. So who..."

They all turned to look at Uni, and Uni tugged at his collar. "Uhh, what are you all staring at me for?"

"Uni! Did you steal a potion from my room?" Ashlie asked with rage, and Uni sighed.

"Okay, okay, I did. Though I thought Tommy was going to sit where Nick sat,  and I didn't really know what it was..." Uni confessed, and Tommy scoffed.

"Great, and if this potion wasn't a love one, Nick could've died! Uni, dude, you are truly an idiot." Tommy said, and turned to leave.

"Where are you going?" Ashlie asked. "Tommy, I can easily get an antidote for-"

"Ashlie, nobody can make an antidote for a love potion. The person under the potion has to realize their true feelings." Dawn told her, and Tommy sighed.

"I guess I'm gonna go try to get Nick to figure out his real feelings." Tommy said, and left without another word.

Ashlie heard a knock on her door, and as soon as she opened it, Nick grasped the front of her shirt, tears streaming down his face.

"Ashlie! I need boy help, Tommy help! I want to ask him to dinner but I don't know hooooow!" Nick cried, and Ashlie laughed.

"Nick, oh my god. Okay, sit down and stop crying, alright?" Nick nodded, and wiped his tears. He sat on the edge of Ashlie's bed, and she sat next to him.

"W-What do I do..." Nick asked, and Ashlie put an arm around him.

"Easy: Ask him out."

"What if he says no?" Nick whined.

"He won't say no, promise, you just need to be super romantic, use that low voice, I know he likes that a lot. Maybe take him out to blow something up or fight monsters, you both like that stuff right?"

"Yeah, s-should I get him flowers?" Nick asked, and Ashlie shook her head.

"It's Tommy, he'd want TNT."

"Okay, thanks Ash!" Nick ran out of the room, and Ashlie smiled.

"Oh, they grow up so fast!" She wiped away a fake tear, and wished the best for him.
