To me my life right now seems like total shit. But really it could get a lot worse.

I say that because our lives could end any moment. By our lives, I mean my four brothers and mine. We have been kept in this dark, damp, smelly, and cold basement for a couple months now.

You would think by now that our parents or at least the police would be looking for us right. Haa I wish that would happen. OK I'm ranting again, sorry. My name is Bri and my brothers are Riley, Ackley, Dedrick, and Dennis.

I am the oldest out them and the only girl. Its not really something to brag about right now in our situation. Since I take most of the beatings for my brothers. Our kidnappers think its funny and purposely hurt us more. But what they don't know is our past and know that I could take anything they do to me.

Sorry ranting again. In the basement we really don't have much but I did manage to find some old note books and pencils. So as I flip through the dusty yellow colored pages if the notebook my eyes widen and my mouth drops. we were not the first kids to be kept prisoner in this place. So let's add our story to this book.

"Sissy their gonna come back to feed us right?" one of the twins whispered crawling over to where I was seated on the floor.

"Let's hope so Dedrick, but if not you boys can have my food that I have saved" I attempted to say in a calm voice but the truth was that I didn't know if they would feed us again. Those bastards.

I started writing in the book. There wasn't much that I could remember since they had put a cloth over my nose and mouth. So I'll share what I can.

It was a bright and sunny after noon. The final bell rang for school to be done for today.

"Hey Bri, wait up!" a heavy and rushed voice called from behind me. As I was about to turn around that sane voice sane crashing into my right ear. "Guess who!" a small giggle playfully hitting my ears and warm breath rushing around my neck.

"Well let's see, that voice belongs to.....Kristine. Am I right?" A small smile appearing on my face as I grab the hands over my eyes and turn around.

"That correct!" she giggled in amusement. Kristine had been my one of my friends since the beginning of highschool. But in the middle of our 10th grade year we became closer after I had lost all of my previous friends. Plus we had a lot in common. Such as we both liked reading and writing books.

"Yes I got it right once again. But come on its not that hard to figure it out because your the only one who still does this." my voice and smile becoming softer towards her. I mean come on when your considered the "strange" kid, every one tends to look at you like your a disease. Don't ask me why its just how my high school is.
