Willow and Rye are Peeta and Katniss's children. They are living happily in District 12 while Gale is on a mission in District 2. The Hunger Games is over, and everyone is living a happy life, except Gale. He's a little ticked at Katniss's for choosing Peeta instead of him.
"Peeta, I'm going out hunting! See you in a few!" Katniss bellowed to Peeta.
"Ok." Peeta answered.
Katniss ran into the Black Forest near District 12. Her old, cracked bow in her hands with a dusty leather quiver on her back, filled with home- made arrows. She sped towards her normal spot behind the bushes, still holding her bow, waiting for prey to walk up.
A few minutes later, a plump, brown turkey made its way up the hill. It's sad eyes gave a hint of loneliness. Katniss aimed her bow. She sat there, aiming, but not firing. The sight of Finnick gave a crisp thought to her mind. The sight of her old best buddy made her faint, while Peeta was sprinting up the hill.
"Katniss!" He screached, worried for his wife.
He brought her in the house and laid her on the bad. Rye ran in, sobbing and saying softly,
"What's wrong with mommy."
Willow watched her father try and wake up Katniss. Her eyes were closed, and her heart was beating fast. Her head shook back and forth like a small child having nightmares. Then, she woke up screaming.
"Hey, it's alright. It's alright." Peeta soothed.
"I saw Finnick Peeta. FINNICK! Our BEST FRIEND!" Katniss continued to scream while she was drowning in her own tears. "I keep REMEBERING! Prim, and Finnick, and..."
"Kat. Relax. The games are over." Peeta continued.
"I don't think so. Gale." Katniss whispered.
"You saw him in the woods?" Peeta questioned.
"No. When I chose you over him, he got mad at me. I am afraid he will send bombs to our home for revenge, take Willow or Rye, and revive the games, putting Willow and Rye in them." Katniss cried.
"That will never happen. I will make sure of it." Peeta was confident. But when he walked out of the room letting Katniss rest, he was nervous, and scared. He's seen the Hunger Games, and he's planning on not returning, but then, Peeta started yelling.
"GET WILLOW AND RYE OUT NOW!"
