Yellow Octopus

(y/n)'s POV

My name? (L/n) (y/n). Who am I? An assassin. And I'm in Kunugigaoka Junior High School. Actually, my class is 3-A, but it really doesn't matter.
And this day began with news that were totally weird. Class 3-E, their new teacher is a yellow octopus. The one that destroyed the Moon as well.

Flashback to this morning

"(y/n), we have a new job for you", They told her. "and it's in your school."
"Who do you want me to kill?"
"3-E's new teacher."
"Wait, what? This is new. But of course, I'd never say no to a job. Not now, not ever."
"Good. So, we decided this already with principal Asano, but you are going to have your PE and math lessons with them"
"Whaaatt? I don't want to be with them! I hate them, seriously! Why can't I just... stay in class A?"
"It doesn't matter. This teacher can move at Mach 20, and he stays only when he is teaching. And you can study with other kid assassins."
"They aren't assassins only because of one job. But fine, I'll do it. Give me my new schedule", I say. They gave me my new schedule, and I check tomorrow schedule from it. Well, I see my tomorrow starts with going there. Three hours of PE, then normally at main campus, and last lesson is math. Four hours with them... I can't stand it...

Flashback ends

I sit at the school cafeteria quietly, thinking how awful next months will be. I eat (F/F)(favourite food), that I took with me to school, of course. Someone from 3-C comes to me, asking for help with math.

"surely", I say, faking a smile. I'm not faking my smile because of depression or something, I just want to seem like one kind of a person in front of people at main campus, since these are anyway the people I have to be with more than those E-class brats. I don't hate them because they're in class E. I hate them because most of them don't respect us, they're idiots, and they don't have any kind of interest towards school. Oh, and they are awful at school. Tch, bakas.
"something wrong, (L/n)- san?", asks the girl in front of me.
"Oh no, I'm sorry. So, what do you need help with?"
"these problems are pretty hard, and if I don't do well on midterms, it's possible that I will be sent to class E", she says.
"Oh no. I will help you as much as I can. I won't let you be sent there, I promise", I say smiling.
"Thank you (L/n)- san!", the girl smiles happily. She shows questions to me, and I help her, until lesson starts.
"Good luck, (r/n)(random name)- san!" I say smiling, and when she disappears from my sight, my smile disappears as well. I walk into the Classroom, do everything perfectly again, tho I fail one of the questions on purpose. I know exactly the answer, but I'm trying to stay the second best, which is pretty easy. Just fail one question in one subject and test, that's it.

Timeskip to school day's end

I walk out of the school, and just few seconds after that, someone walks into me, making me fall down.
I look at the person, and I see a boy with blue hair. Definitely, he's a boy, but sure he does look like a girl. Same outfit I have, except boys' version. But, I'm sure he isn't at main campus, so either he's stolen it from somewhere, or then he is at 3-E. Which is more possible.

"Look where you're walking!", I say, pretending to cry, which I succeeded well. He immadietaly apologizes, but it's not enough for me, I want to see how he reacts if someone's about to beat him up. I can see it as well, because two or three boys from 3-B come to me, and are about to fight him.
"How dare you make our (L/n)- san cry?!", one of the boys yell at blue haired boy. Others join him with that.
"We will kill you, because you made her cry!"

I, from the ground level, can see smile appearing to his face, but that smile isn't gentle, kind or anything like that. It's cruel, and murderous.
"Like you've ever tried to kill anyone", I hear the boy saying with words full of amusement. Okay, he can be scary. I'm not afraid of him, but the boys that were defending me are. They run away.
