"April wait up!" I shouted at my bestfriend who had left me in the airport alone. What happened to sticking together? I finally caught up to the 100lbs brunette, "There you are slow poke!" April said whilst sticking her tongue out at me, I rolled my eyes at her and got into the limo.
Today was our first day as a professional wrestlers for the company WWE. I decided on Skeylar as my ring name (even though my real name is Megan) and April chose AJ Lee.
Me and April have been bestfriends ever since we were in nappies. Everyday we would play dress up at each others home or talk about boys (when we grew up). We did everything together: literally joined at the hip.We even called each others mums mum. I tell April everything, although some she figures out herself; like my love for Manchester United wingers Adnan Januzaj. That boy is God! I first heard of him back in 2012 when my cousin dragged me to a reserves match in my hometown: I instantly fell in love!
"Megan oh Megan!" I snapped back to reality. We were here! We were at WWE headquarters! My whole life has been building up to this moment. My dreams were coming true!
Stunned we walked inside the glass building awe struck. We heard a deep chuckle behind us, quickly spinning on our heels we were face to face with CM Punk aka Philip Jack Brooks aka April's lover. April's cheeks flared as red as a tomato. "Welcome to WWE girls," Phil smiled "I'll be seeing a lot more of you!" he winked at April who was somehow getting reder each second.
Our music hit. "Good luck babes, kill 'em!" we reassured each other doing our 'special' warm up. It was now or never!
