Raphael High School, the only secondary school in Southern California specializing in the arts, named after Erela's favorite painter himself.

The hallways were littered with teenagers prancing around her as if she were a cockroach, or worse, knew anything about her weekend.

Glares and frowns lingered in her direction as she walked by, her fingers grazing her hair awkwardly. She ran into an open bathroom stall, pulling out her prized Motorola from her backpack. She scavenged her pocket, finally grasping a wrinkled piece of paper with Johnny's scribbled number on it.

hey, this is johnny right?

She was too nervous to go back into the hallways, she needed reassurance that everything would be alright. Johnny was the only person she could think of who could calm her down.

Why, yes it is m'lady.
I'm guessing this
is Erela?

She smiled at her small screen, her shoulders relaxing.

yup. same old me
hiding in a bathroom stall

Hiding from anyone
in particular?

everyone, the whole
school's giving me
dirty looks today. do you
think they know i was
with you?

It's possible, did you
see anyone you knew
yesterday?

my high school's huge, i
barely know anyone.
It's making me nervous :/

Are you alright, love?
I can pick you up now
if you'd like, just tell
me where

I'm okay, thank you though.
I'll just stick it out, I have
an art test today anyways.

A test for art, what kind
of shit is that? Are you
supposed to draw or
something?

no, silly. it's an art
history class, we've been
learning about diego rivera

I think one time this
guy on Family Feud's
name was Diego Rivera.
But I could be wrong, it was
something like that.

She rolled her eyes, a smile curving at the end of her lips. While returning back to the corridors, she bumped into a tall, skinny frame that was almost as fragile as hers.

"Woah, watch where you're going, ugly!" She heard a familiar voice say.

She looked up to meet her one, and only real friend in this whole school.

"Henry! How was your weekend?" She smiled, giving him the biggest hug she possibly could.

"It was great because I didn't have to see you." He sassed, wrapping his thin arms around her back.

He was the only person in the world who could make her cry of laughter, and who never took offense to anything. The two were a perfect match. They were both sarcastic, fairly intellectual, and were in love with the star of 21 Jump Street, Johnny Depp.
