Lying on my bed whilst staring at the ceiling is all that i could do. Austin waked past the odd couple of times but i failed to get his attention, not that i wanted to anway! I heard faint screams from the front room. Nothing to serious to do anything about. It started to get stuffy, my forehead was burning up and i could feel sweat dripping down, then leaving a mark on my pillow case! Being in a mad house means that no one believes you or anything you have to say, screaming for help wouldn't be any use so i decided to let it happen! After about five satanic minutes with the devlish hot heat, all of a sudden it took a turn for the worst! It became the coldest place in the universe. My fingers slowly started to become numb, then my toes ,then everything. How i wish this could all over, somehow i manged cover myself in my cover ( and yes this was after multiple attempts)! I know it sounds kind of pathetic but breathing out did kinda make me fee like a dragon! I heard the door creak open. Whoever it was , they were either having second thoughts about entering the room owere really quiet! Being quiet in this place, it isn't normal: but then again neither are we. it wasn't an option for me to observe who it was. The room it was once again normal temperature and I liked it. Footsteps were pacing towards me, I had never had such a feeling! It all went dark, there was no one around. I screamed at the top of my lungs only hoping that somebody would save me from this treacherous nightmare! A cold splash of water spread across my face, it was almost sensual.
"Wake up, get up! Are you ok?" faint screams from the middle if darkness!
"I... It's... i can't see you! Help me, I think I'm going blind! It's all dark!" I was slapped across the face, it didn't manage to restore my vision! my face was throbbing after the attack of, well I suppose nothing but darkness! Placing my arms in front of me and frantically waving them was all that could I could do.
"Ow! Why would you do that?"
"She said she can't see remember! How on earth did you get a job here?" two very different unfamiliar voices said. Quite frankly I was scared, however I couldn't really panic in a time that was possible; life or death!
I woke to see people at my side, taking my temperature, flashing torches in my eyes.
"She's awake. Stop, stop!" The flashes and touching all stopped in synchronisation. Approximately 3 people walked out of the room, I'm almost sure they were nurses. I was in the room with a strange unfamiliar man as Austin.
"How are you feeling young lady?" he questioned.
"I'm fine. Why?" he curved one corner of his lip, however it wasn't really a smile.
"You were unconscious for quite some time. The nurses were worried, they said you couldn't see!"
"I don't remember anything but waking up just now. Sorry." I lied through my teeth.
"Well just get some rest and we'll talk later see if you remember anything."
