Okay I got it! I have to have Kassidy talk to my grandpa! She does have my voice after all. But wait what if he can tell that it's not me! I worried. I'll just have to have Kassidy call him. I couldn't bare lying to him, even if it wasn't exactly me.

As soon as my nerves calmed enough for me to hold something properly I dialed Kassidy's number. Every ring felt like an eternity.

"hello"

"hey I'm sorry I reacted like that, I was just really scared and confused".

"It's fine I understand" she assured.

"It made me realize something, we need to work together to figure this out. Do you think you could convince your parents to let me stay with you for a week or so. We can't stay at my house. If we slip up and call each other the wrong name in front of your parents they'll just think we're crazy. But what if my grandpa hears, he'll know for sure! I explained.

"Okay I'll tell my parents that your grandpa is going out of town and you need a place to stay. Then you tell your grandpa that my mom wanted to know if you could stay since my dad was going out of town." she said convincingly.

I thought of a couple of flaws with her plan. What if her parents want to talk to my grandpa or if they ran into each other through the week! The thoughts made me cringe but we didn't really have time to think of a better excuse.

"Okay, I'll come over and you can call my grandpa and I'll call to ask your parents"

"Of course! we can't ask while we are in each others body" she remembered.

"Okay! Hurry, my parents will be home from work in about an hour" she replied.

I know she told me to hurry but I was rethinking everything. Plus, I had already broke the law twice today! and this was not the time to get pulled over.

I raced into her house when I arrived. She had already dialed the number to the hospital where both of her parents worked.

"Hello" I heard on the other side of the call.

"Hi, could I talk to Teressa or Shawn Lindsey?"

   "Sure, is this Kassidy"

"Yes" I tried to sound convincing

"hello" I heard Teressa say.

"Hi mom"

I haven't said those words since my parents went to Ethiopia. They had left at the beginning of this school year to provide medical care to children.

"Hey, Kassidy" I heard snapping me out of my memory.

"Hey, uuum Alice's grandfather is going out of town for a week and she needs a place to stay..can she stay with us" I stumbled over my words.

"Sure, as long as you guys clean up after yourselves"

   "We will" I studdered.

I didn't even say bye. My heart was beating out of my chest and I could barely breath. I don't really know what Kassidy told my grandpa but she seemed more confident than I was.

I couldn't concentrate at school the next day. Everything was so different. I took different classes. I probably looked ridiculous wandering back and forth through the halls.

The whole day was such a struggle. I couldn't wait to get home and figure out how to fix this. I couldn't take the stress. I needed to let out my feelings and I was too frustrated to talk to Kassidy.

I knew that I had to keep this a secret but Lexi could tell there was something different about me that day. She obviously didn't know that it was Kassidy instead of me but I felt that she had the right to know. I tried to wait until studyhall but when I saw her walk into the bathroom I had a good chance.

I examined the bathroom to make sure no-one would hear what I was going to say. The words flowed out of my mouth so quickly. She looked confused which worried me! What if she thought I was crazy! What if I had just drove our bestfriend away! If she didn't believe me then I could have ended a great friendship for me, and Kassidy!

I felt my heart sink as she opened her mouth." I knew I should have kept it a secret I'm sorry" I uttered uncontrollably.

"No, I'm glad you told me! I thought you two seemed to switch personalities when we all talked at lunch." she laughed. "We better get to math class we are going to get in trouble." she reminded before I could form words.

She actually believed me! I was so relieved! I started to hurry to class but something distracted me. I heard a ruckus coming from the janitor closet. I thought perhaps the janitor had fallen or dropped  something.

I threw my stuff down and ran to help. When I swung the door open I gasped. There stood Kassidy in my body. She was holding a blue screw driver. I stumbled back against the wall when I realized what she had done. A thick puddle of blood grew on the floor. I saw Sara's lifeless body slump to the floor.

The metallic smell of blood filled my nostrils. It made me feel sick. I starred in shock and fear and my body was trembling. I stood frozen watching myself run out of the school. I tried to scream but no sound came out.

What had she done! I couldn't switch back now! She had taken the life of someone in my body, which meant I couldn't turn her in! What would my friends and family think if she was in prison, they would think it was me! I couldn't bare the thought of my parents and my grandpa thinking I had commit murder!
