Chapter Two

-previously:

I leave him with his words. I say nothing after that but stand in shock. I am so happy.

I go to find Jenny to tell her the news. Tell her what had happened. But by the time I found her we had to leave. I have no time to say a word so I figure I would tell her later.

-now:

Bethany's POV:

It's the next day. I knew I would pass out when I got home. Jenny had stayed the night but. Something is keeping me from telling her. I just woke up.

"Hey jenny, you up?"

No answer. So I predict she's sleeping still.

I pick up my phone. Remembering he was going to text me but my phones dead, it's still dark so I jump up.. Forgetting where I had last plugged in my charger I run to my desk. After tripping over a lot of things, I'm still trying to find my charger.

FINALLY, I found it, I hectically try to turn it on. The minute it takes feels like FOREVER. but it turned on.

I have a message from a number..

Hey Bethany Haisley! Thought I would text you now, I hope your up!! -Ben<3

I can't breathe. I am panicking trying to figure out what to answer. After a minute I'm yelling at Jenny to wake up.

"BETHANY WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING ITS 6:30IN THE MORNING" she said angrily.

"There's this guy. I'm head over heals I need your help."

"Oh my god who is he and explain." She said with an unpleasant look but I knew she would get up. She loved the gossip. In her mind. Anything about a guy she will gossip...

"You can't say anything about it Jenny and I'm serious.."

I can see the disappointment in her face.

"Fine! NOW SPILL YOU BUTT!!"

I knew I had to be careful...

"Well I met him last night and I am in lo-" before I can finish she cuts me off.

"YOU MET LAST NIGHT. And.. and you love him..?" She gave me a weird face.

"Yes but this is taking to long I will continue explaining he texted me about twenty minutes ago to see if I was up. I don't know what to reply."

"Well let me see what he said goof."

When I did, she gasped. I sat there smiling..

"Ben.... As in the Ben.?"

"Yeaaahh... this is why you can't say anything."

"Well, I am going text him back for you!"

"WHAT NO. YOU CANT. YOU WOULDN'T." By now I'm yelling and I'm trying to get my phone.

"Bethany. You know I will, now stop worrying."

I sat down and I teared. I didn't know what she would say to him.

Finally, after what felt like hours which is only about three minutes I look at what she sent..

Hey Ben! I'm up. Now the question is why are we both up at this time? ahaha. Just playing but I want to get to know you. The real you.. That would be amazing..<33

"WHAT WHY'D YOU -" I was talking but is semi-quick reply got my attention.

Well, I got a call from my manager. Figured I would text you. But it would be wonderful to get to know you too.. how about we go out today and do just that??

I knew just what to say now.

Wow. Uhm. How about we go to a park or a beach or something. I live close to both. Maybe we could walk?

I figured I would save his number before he texted back, I saved it as 'Ben..<33:*' I don't know if that's a good idea but he just texted back.

Well that sounds great to me! send me your address and I will come in about two hours, alright?

Wow, okay Ben! that's a plan!!(:

"BETHANY HAISLEY EARTH TO BETHANY"

"Oh my gosh. Jenny! why are you yelling.??"

"I was talking to you."

"Oh. I'm sorry, Ben.."

"It's fine what happened?!"

I knew Jenny wants to know but before I can say anything she takes my phone and starts reading. I have no reaction but watch her. But I heard my phone go off.

"OH HE TEXTED YOU" Jenny yelled.

I didn't bother taking it back. I just let it be.

"He said 'great. See you and your beautiful face then' BETHANY. WITH A KISSY FACE. I THINK HE'S INTO YOU."

"Macklemore. I mean Ben. Into me? yeah. right."

"Fine but I guess this means I have to go home."

----10 minutes later----

Jenny had went home just now and I'm going in the shower to get ready. I don't know what to wear. I decided on dark blue denim skinny jeans and a long sleeve shirt.

----2 hours later----

I hear a knock on my door.

I open it. In my amazement Ben was in a flannel short sleeve shirt and jeans. He looked so hot..

"Uhm hi" he muttered.

"Wow.. hi.' I was turning red. "So park or beach Ben?"

"Which is first?"

"Park!"

He smiled, his smile was so beautiful.

"Well then well go to the park then the beach, how bout it?" He said.

"Well. Uhm that's perfect."

We started walking.. I saw him playing with his hands.. then I noticed I was too. I had stopped. And then he followed. Dropping his arm and grabbing my hand. Intertwining our fingers. All I felt was butterflies. I couldn't believe this... Am I dreaming.. I look up at him.

I saw him turning red. It was so cute.. I guess something's are meant to be. He smiled at me. that's when I realized this is real life..

Bens POV:

Wow. There she is.. I'm standing. Like a statue. I have to say something..

"Uhm hi"

She looked so surprised.. so happy.

"Wow.. Hi" I can see her cheeks turning red. "So park or beach Ben?"

"Which is first?" Why did I say that. I feel so stupid..

"Park!" she seemed so happy and excited. I could tell she was nervous.. as I was too.

I gave her a smile "Well then well go to the park then the beach, how bout it?"

She paused but said "Well. Uhm that's perfect."

As we were walking all I could do was rustle my hands around in front of me. She was so pretty I wanted to hold her hand. I wanted to hug her and kiss her. Yet I only knew her name and her house address..

I looked over noticing her playing with her hands.. I guess she saw me because she put her hands down.. So I did too, but I couldn't stop myself. I put my hand down and intertwined my fingers with hers. I was surprised. She held my hand as I did to her.. I knew I was blushing... I looked at her and smiled. Out of words...
