Autumn's POV

"MINE" a deep raspy voice says from behind me, I feel a soft warm hand caress my cheek then he gripped my jaw gently and turned me to face him.

"Wha-" I started to say but I was distracted by sheer adoration that his eyes were showing.

"Mate" he whispers softly then he softly turns me around, burrows his head in my neck and inhaled deeply, then sighed. All I could think is why is this Random, yet undeniably soft and gentle man touching me and claiming me as his property?! What??

He backed up after that almost although he could read my mind or just really observant as my body moved away from him, yeah he must have just picked up on my body language I mean it's impossible to read minds isn't it ?

I shone my torch at him and gasped he was godly he was tall dark and handsome his hair was messily tousled like he just woke up but I mean it's like what? 6 in the afternoon right ? Wait what 6 I left at 12 I must have jogged around the lake for longer than I realised... I better text mum and tell her I'm alright although she is on a business meeting and won't be back for a few months at lest so right now I'm holding up the fort ( my dad abandoned us when I was 2 sadly but I can't say I really miss him mum is all I need )I sighed and quickly told her I

Mystery boy was just looking at me amusingly when I was done I raised by browning annoyance why was he even here still.. Though he is making me feel safe after that Forrest bunny practically gave me a heat attack I hate the Forrest thankfully we past it. Wait a minute I am practically being follwed by a stranger in the dark in a secluded area I mean anything could happen to me yet I felt protected by him and I didn't mind the company really his body heat was radiating into me as we were walking side by side on a narrow path

He chuckled to himself softly and I looked at him annoyance again, why is he laughing at me? what did I do? I'm not a freaking comedian naturally and it's not like I was doing anything laugh worthy.

God he is so aggravating!

It has been about 10 minutes when I decided to break the awkward silence.

I was about to open my mouth but felt like I was about to regret what I was going to say.

" what does mate mean" I wondered aloud honestly I don't know why i didn't pick upon it sooner yet I was distracted by a comfortable shocking sensation when he first showed up as he was touching my bare arm softly as he caressed my cheek with the other hand.

" Mate means friend"

He said to me nervously while rubbing the back of his neck and looking away while a blush coated his cheeks.

'I made his blush and He wants to be friend' I gushed to myself while internally sighing like a hopeless romantic

I blushed lightly when I looked up and caught his staring at my face adoringly gosh he was so handsome he was at Least 6 ft 2 towering over me yet I didn't feel threatened i felt protected, he had dark blond hair that was borderline brown, he had muscles that I could see visibly through his slightly damp wifebeater he must have been with that group of teens who were swimming and sun bathing at the lake edge. I could defiantly imagine him having a 6 pack and I slowly dragged my eyes up to his face and saw him smiling at me softly with his plump pink lips, he was tanned and had amazing bone structure he could be a Hollister model! Or a Greek god! His eyes were a smouldering hazel brown ( kinda like Justin biebers sorry I can't explain it any other way sorry ) he had amazing eyelashes they were thick, long and dark any girl would kill for including me ! After obviously checking him out he stepped closer and said "what's your name beautiful?"
