A scared little girl, hiding herself from the world. Doesn't sleep at night, for she terrified of the fights. Each little noise poses a threat, the footsteps at midnight warn of death.

That stupid little girl never spoke up, she never told of her terror. She fought back as best she could but that poor little girl couldn't carry the world. She tried to stand tall, refusing to fall. The fear and pain crushed her innocence, tore her to shreds and back again.

If only I could meet her now, tell her to keep fighting- never stoping- never dying.

I wish I could shield her, I want to tell her that I will always be there. I would hold her weary figure and except the torture she carries with her. Protect her from harsh reality, I would protect her because that has been me. I wished for a savior, I wish I could be one for her.

That girl dies each day. I feel her cry, can she hear my screams? If only I could save her I would...
