Once the library is closed, I say goodbye to Ryan and start walking towards the bus stop. I grab my cell phone and touch the icon to create a new text to send it to my mother, but I don't get to press "send" as a cold hand grabs me from behind, covering my mouth and pressing something sharp on my stomach. I widen my eyes and my hands fly to the arm that's covering my mouth. My cell phone is still in one of them.
