Chapter 3

Today was by far the best day of the week no school, no work, and i got to spend all day with Edward. When i woke up i felt something cold next to me, but of course i knew what it was so i didn't move. "Mya" a beautiful angel voice spoke. "Yes" I answered.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked me this question a lot because i was the only mind he couldn't read.

"I'm just thinking about you" I'm such a bad liar.

"Mya, your such a bad liar tell me whats really going on"

"Alright, i'm worried about that intruder" it sounded so stupid when i said it out loud but i didn't care because all i wanted right now was to be with Edward, that's all i ever wanted... was him. I started to cry and clung to him. "Mya whats wrong" I could see the alarm in his eyes "promise you'll never leave me" i managed to choke out. "Never... ill never leave you and i wont let anyone hurt you ever, I love you" he sat up and pulled me on to his lap. "why are you so worried about this intruder Mya" i didn't answer i just put my cheek against his chest and inhaled his scent. He pulled my face up in his ands forcing me to look at him." i don't know, its just.. why me, why my room, why my house."

"there is nothing to be worried about sweetheart ill protect you" he breathed

He was just about to kiss me when his phone rang and with one swift movement he pulled it out of his pocket and flipped it open. "Here she is" he handed it to me and i thought to myself who it could be, and i was right, "Good morning Mya I was wondering if you wanted to take a shopping trip today" ugh i almost gaged i absolutely hated shopping, but I didn't want to be rude so I just said yes.

"Great i'll pick you up at 11:00" i could here the excitement in her voice.

"okay, goodbye Alice"i said.

"Goodbye Mya"

Then i handed the phone back to Edward then got up and grabbed my bathroom bag "now stay and be a good vampire" he smiled his crooked smile i love so much and said "yes mam." i took a quick shower and dressed in jeans and a purple v-neck t-shirt. when i got back to my room Edward had barley moved an inch. "i missed you" he said "i was in there for 15 minutes" then he was there with his arms around me and his face in my damp hair. "I love your smell" he said, i laughed and then he tolled he Alice was here, he kissed me softly on the lips "I love you" i said "I love you too, and ill miss you" then he was gone.

When i was walking out the door my mom said "where are you going?" i yelled " out, with Alice" then as soon as i was out i locked the door "Dammit" i muttered under my breath, I'm so stupid my mom had no idea who Alice was I'm so screwed now. I jumped when Alice honked the horn at me and i started to walk towards the car, she was driving Rosalie's BMW. When i got in the car Alice immediately took off. Her driving kind of scared me. When we reached the mall in Seattle we went to one of Alice's favorite stores. i spent the whole day commenting on things Alice wanted to buy. by the time we were ready to go home i was exhausted.

As soon as I was in the seat of the car i heard Alice's phone ring when she picked it up i saw her mood immediately change. when she finished she didn't speak. "I'm taking you to my house"

"Why?" i answered

"We know who the intruder is."
