Skyler's POV

"Hey can I borrow your highlighter?" Luke asked leaning over to whisper in my ear while Mr. Meyers continued to talk. I gasp "does that mean Luke Hemming came unprepared?" he smirked putting his hand out until I placed the yellow highlighter into it.

"Thank you" He mouthed I smiled focusing back on Mr. Meyers "Alright so practise will be held days two days a week I expect you all to attend every single one, so lets begin everyone get into groups and do a cold run through." People begin to stand shuffling around the class

"So us four?" Calum asks, I nod smiling as we all gather into a circle "so you guys wanna start with the kissing scene or?" Luke teases causing Natalie to gasp and Calum to turn an alarming shad of red I chuckle.

"Alright scene two then," Natalie says obviously trying to keep her composure, Luke coughs flipping the page in his script. "What are you my mother? I was working which is more then any of you can say." "Working?" I said filling in the other guys lines. "That's right I was lugging boxes down at Bargin city." "Nice job" Calum replied filling in the next line

"eat knee I was saving us for some wheels." "Hey there's Danny!" Natalie replied. We continued like that for a while all saying are lines in different accents to keep things interesting. I couldn't help but notice how Natalie blushed every time Calum said a line that had to do with her character it was almost cute... almost.

"Sorry I'm late Mr. Meyers" I heard Mallroy call "That's alright just make sure it doesn't happen again he said sternly she nodded "you can join their group" he said motioning over to us. Of course I thought as she dropped her back and came to sit beside us "Hey" she said a little to cheerfully sitting in between Nat and Cal.

I felt Luke shoulder press into mine and a blush crossed my cheek. "So what page are we on?" She asked pulling out her script and a highlighter "page 37" Luke responded "thanks babe," she said flashing an obnoxiously wide grin.

Natalie's POV

I thought play practice was going just swell until Mallory came along.  Ugh!  Why did she even get to make it!?  We had gotten to the scene with Sandy and Danny at the diner after the football rally.  Obviously being Patty Simcox, she was annoying.

We somehow struggled, as she leaned against Calum.  I felt the jealousy stirring inside of me, before suddenly Sky's voice said "Nat, it's your line."  I snapped out of my laser glare, looking back down onto my script, scanning it to see where we were.

"Don't get too distracted Nat.  Or else you might not have your part!" Mallory said, a wicked grin on her face.  I faked a smile back before icily replying "Oh don't worry about that Mallory.  I'm quite happy with the part I have.  I'm sure you can say the same."

Mallory shut up after that, and I then went onto my lines.  We continued saying our lines, until finally the clock hit 4:30 and Mr. Meyers said "Alright everyone!  Thank you for coming today!  We will be having a practice on Thursday, and I hope all of you can make it!  Unless otherwise, please do inform me or Ms. Leslie of your absence.  You're all dismissed."

I immediately jumped up, chucking my script into my bag, before finally zipping it all up, as I threw it over my shoulders, making sure my hair wasn't stuck in the straps.

Cal and the others finally got their stuff, as we walked home.  "So what did you think?" I asked Cal, bumping shoulders with him.  He smiled, before saying "It wasn't too bad actually.  I didn't enjoy it at the end." "Why?" "You seemed kind of upset.  And Mallory was leaning against me, and my shoulder happens to have a bruise there, cause of my guitar strap."

I looked at him and said "You know, you should bring your guitar one day.  On the weekend." "Yeah.  Have you ever been down to Coral Beach?" "I've heard about it."

"Well me and Luke usually go there.  Maybe this weekend if you and Sky are free…..we can go down and just enjoy ourselves.  That is if you two are even up to it." Cal said.  WAS CAL ASKING ME OUT?!  No, wait, don't get ahead of yourself Nat.

I quickly turned to Sky and said "I'm pretty sure we're free this Saturday right Sky?"  I crossed my fingers and prayed that we were.  At least Sky was.  She nodded and said "Yeah.  Me and Nat are definitely free this Saturday."

"Perfect" the boys simultaneously responded, before going on their way to their houses.
