Prologue
Things don’t always turn out the way you want it to, because life is always filled with mishaps and people continuously interfering with mistakes. How can anyone have a “normal” life when life itself is a visual deception? Nothing really is the way you see it. Everything you see, hear, even believe in is way bigger than you think. Well, if you’re looking through my eyes.
Before a sudden big change in my life I was what the average person would call “normal”. A fifteen year old girl that is just about to take on the next step of hell’s so called educational experience, high school. I used to have the natural worries that just about every teenager had and now I have somehow replaced them with the worries that this mind boggling change came along with.
I don’t know why this all happened. My life seemed to be good filled with amazing parents, loving siblings, and great friends but, like my uncle always says:
In everything good there’s always a problem.
And luckily for me my problems came a lot quicker than expected. After the big accident “amazing parents” became amazing parent and “loving siblings” became loving sibling. But after living through this whole entire mess I don’t think the title “amazing” fits that parent anymore. A lot of the titles I gave the people I thought I knew won’t fit them anymore. You see, that’s what secrets can do to a person’s life. Flip it upside down. It can change ones perspective and/or ones thought of you.
And trust me; these aren’t any petty life changing surprises. It’s the kind that starts with one thing and turns into another without any warning whatsoever. And that’s another quote my uncle says:
In any situation, in comes another.
Throughout this whole experience, day after day, when I thought one of many of these mesmerizing situations were not an issue to me anymore in came some more. One after another; all these challenges came flying my way without anyone’s acknowledgement.
Oh it’s true, no one saw this coming and not even today do they even believe what was held on this earth we call “home”. No one believes what they have even become after this unfortunate catastrophe. Lives were lost some were given; some gave up while other fought to the finish, and heroes were made while others diminished.
And in the end –this end- everyone changes. Either for the good or the bad, it was their choice anyway. But, no one actually knows what will happen in the absolute end. All we know is that there are going to more problems to face and more decisions to make.
And that means more surprises.
More lives.
And more graves.
…
And we won’t even see it coming.
