Chapter 13: Making the decision

It was soon morning, as the sun began to rise in the distance. Raven slowly opened her crystal blue eyes and let out a yawn as the light poured in through the windows. The boys were already up, cleaning things up and rearranging furniture and equipment. Phi was keeping watch of Raven, making sure she was alright and that no one would break in and hurt her.

Raven rubbed her eyes as she heard Phi stand up. "Morning sunshine." He said softly, as he knelt next to her with a smile. She smiled, giggling a bit. "Morning Phi." She replied softly and made a move to sit up.

"Here take it easy." He said and held out his hand for her to take. Raven took a hold of his hand and Phi placed his other hand on her back and helped her sit up on the couch. "Thank you." She said softly and Phi nodded. "Anytime." He replied with a smile. Raven gave a smile as the rest of the boys walked in. "Morning Raven!" They all said in unison with a cheery tone. Raven laughed a bit and waved at them. "Morning boys! How'd you all sleep?" She asked as the boys sat down.  "Good." Phil replied as Rynan crossed his arms "pretty good." He said as Ben and Chris said the same thing as the others did. "What were you guys up to?" She asked as the boys looked at one one another.

"We moved some stuff around, and rearranged some furniture." Kevin said as Raven gave a small nod. "Alright then. It seems like you kept yourselves busy." She said as they all nodded.

"Want some breakfast? Joe made some extra in case you wanted some."
Rynan said as Joe gave a smile. "Yeah, I'm not the best cook here but, at least its food." He said as all the others laughed. "Don't be silly bro. It was great!" Phil said as the others agreed with him.  "Okay okay, if you all say so." Joe replied as he sat down in an empty chair.  Raven giggled as she slowly stood up. "Sure, sounds good." She replied as Ben stood up. "Awesome! I'll get you a plate." He said as he walked in the kitchen, with Ryanan following him to help. "Thank you guys." She said as the boys nodded. "No problem. We all help and take care of each other." He said with a smile. Raven returned the smile, and walked to the table with the help of Phi and Joe.

The two boys helped Raven sit down, and Ben placed the plate in front of her as Rynan gave her a cup of orange juice. "Thank you guys." She said as the boys nodded and left her alone to eat.

Raven ate her breakfast and she had to admit, it was really good. The boys were right. Joe was a good cook after all. She drank her orange juice and placed her empty cup and plate in the sink just as Phil poked his head in from around the corner. "Hey uh, Raven, you have a message." He said as Raven looked over at him. "Alright." She replied softly and followed him into the main room, just outside the room where the generators the Jabbawockeez were in when she first found them. Phi was on the computer waiting for Raven to arrive, with the rest of the boys standing behind her. Phi clicked on the open tab and the video message played on the hovering screen. Raven's uncle appeared on screen and he gave a bright smile. "Congratulations sweetheart! You recaptured the city! I knew you could do it! I'm so proud of you!" He said in a cheery tone, as Raven smiled. "Thank you. I couldn't have done it without these guys." She replied gesturing towards the boys standing behind her.

"Thank you boys, for all your hard work and for protecting my niece." He said as the boys all nodded and saluted and stood up straight and when her uncle nodded they relaxed their posture. "So, now that the city has been saved, the time has come to send the Jabbawockeez to return to the generators." He said as Raven perked up and her eyes widened. "What?"

The boys went wide eyed as well, looking back up at Raven's uncle. "They have to go back?" She asked, her voice saddening as she looked at her uncle. "Or, if its okay with the boys, they can stay with you." He said as the boys perked up. "Its your decision boys." He said, looking at Phi, Phil, Joe, Kevin, Ben, Rynan, and Chris. All of the boys looked at one another and they all huddled together and whispered to each other on what they think. After a few minutes of discussing their opinions, the boys then pulled apart, and stood next to one another. "We have made our decision." Phil announced, all the boys holding their hands behind their backs looking up at Raven's uncle. Her uncle nodded slightly, listening intently. "What is your decision boys?" He asked as he watched the all of them.

The boys looked at Raven then looked back at her uncle on the screen. "We have decided to stay with Raven." Phi said, as the others nodded. "She may need some help, fixing the city and such." Rynan said as the others agreed. "Also, so she wouldn't be lonely." Joe added, as her uncle nodded in understanding, Raven smiled brightly looking at all the boys.

Her uncle smiled over at Raven, then at the boys. "Alright then boys. You can stay with Raven. Watch over and protect her." He said as they all nodded. "We will sir." They all said, nodding in understanding. He looked at Raven, and smiled softly. "They belong to you now Raven. Take good care of them." He said as she nodded. "I will uncle. Thank you." She said as he smiled. "Alright. Be careful. I love you Raven." He said. "I love you too. See you soon." She said softly. He smiled. "See you soon." He repeated, and was signed off automatically on the computer. Raven then turned to the boys, and hugged all of them, feeling extremely happy. "I love all of you guys so much." She said as the boys hugged her back. "We all love you too Raven!" They all said in unison with a cheery tone and a smile. They pulled away, smiling at one another as the sun was now sinking down behind some of the damaged buildings. After cleaning up a bit more, Raven stood up on the balcony of the laboratory, looking at the city around her, dazing off as the fading light of the sun disappeared.

The boys soon joined her, standing next to one another and looked put on the city, they will soon fix, and restore again. They all wrapped their arms around each other in their shoulders, smiling softly. "We did it..boys. we did it." Raven said as the boys smiled, and nodded. "We sure did." They replied as they all looked up at the moon, which shine its light down upon them.
