Chapter 10: Team Tasks

After everyone knew who each other was, Blaise began talking. "Okay this meeting is to discuss what people will be doing over the holiday", he said and a few groaned. "And this is groan worthy because fern", he said. "Ive got plans sir", she pouted. "Well hold them off, killing demons are more important", he said and i heard a slight chuckle from Dakota.

"Okay, il go round the table from Green", he began. Before he spoke anymore Hestia spoke. "Greens you will be doing damage repairs of the eastern region", she said. "Huh! Why there", Fern whined. Her partner, Tristan, just rolled his eyes. "As we are earth, we are to repair the forest as its home to allies of ours",he said and Hestia nodded.
Fern just huffed as she folded her arms.

"White will be in charge of cleaning out all the remaining dark essences, no buts Athena", Blaise said. "Im not getting my nails dirty", Athena said and flicked her hair, Lucian kept quiet while nodding. "Just grow up already Athena", Logan said in a harsh tone. "Don't talk to her like that!", now Lucian got involved.

"Enough!", the room went silent after Blaise rose his voice. I even got scared myself. "You can fight afterwards, now Athena just put some gloves on so your hands wont get dirty and besides you just need to change then cast light on the dark essences", Blaise said in which Athena nodded to. "Fine, i guess il do it, right Lucian", she smiled. "Yes dear", he replied also with a smile.

I noticed Logan rolled his eyes which made Ross laugh then he turned to me. "You alright", he asked. "Yeah, well its a bit overwhelming", i said with a slight laugh. "Thats why i never want to come", Dakota butted it. "Oh, why are we here then", i asked now curious. "Just felt like it", he said and turned away. Now i know he's hiding something.

"Ava, Skye, we need you to check in with the cloud fairies in the North and help them with repairing there home after a recent demon attack", Hestia said. "Yes mam", Ava nodded, while nudging her Familiar. "Yes, the cloud fairies must be safe", Skye said and held onto her hands.

"Miss Night, you and your Barer are to survey the area on this map" and then suddenly a hologram of the world appeared in the middle if the table. When Blaise moved his hand it made the world spin. He zoomed in near us and went along to where a black area was. "This was recently burnt down so we need you to see if its clear for capture if not then you know what to do", Blaise smiled.

"Sure do", Zoey replied with a nod. Blair smiled also. Now it was nearly our turn and honestly i was scared.

"Blues", Blaise said and Nile turned his head towards the pair of Reds. "Sir", he said and sat tall. "You two are to go check on the mermaids in the west", Blaise said and a ring where they should go on the world popped up. "Yes sir", Nile replied. Now it was our turn, deep breaths Alissa.

"Cyan troop", Hestia said. I was a bit relieved that it was her. "Yes mam", i said and she gave a little nod. "You two are to do survey work for your multiple absences so you must go ask our informant at the frozen ruins in the south, for information", she said and i felt Dakota tense up. "Er yes mam", i replied and then they moved on. I looked up at Dakota as he wasn't pleased by the news. I looked over as i saw the whites laughing our way.

I jumped when Dakota banged his arm on the table. Blaise stopped talking and looked our way. Dakota stood up abruptly and made his way out by slamming the door behind him.
I stood up also to follow him. "Sorry sir", i said and Blaise gave me a its okay nod as i left. When i left Blaise began talking and i had lost Dakota.

God damn it fox, which way. I looked down the corridor and saw a glimpse of black turn a corner so i ran down towards it. Without realising where i actually were. I ran round aimlessly till i was lost. "Great I'm lost", i muttered as a group of staff came over, three boys to be exact. "Hello pretty lady, your a magic barer aren't you", one with blonde hair said. The brown and green haired boys just laughed. "Um I'm lost, could you lead me to the meeting room", i asked. "Sure can", the green haired smiled. I had two behind me and the green haired lead the way. It wasn't long till he stopped. "Um why'd we stop", i asked. He turned round smirking. "We are here little lady", one said over my shoulder and i was pulled into the room we stopped at.

I was then pushed to the floor. "What do you want", i asked. "You", the blonde smirked. The brown haired came over and sat behind my head and held my arms down. The blonde sat himself on my legs, so now i cant move. The green haired came over and sat on my stomach. I tried to get away but it was no use. The green stroked my cheek which was disgusting. He lowered his face towards me, towards my lips. I closed my eyes but only for a second when i felt him get pulled off. "Don't touch whats mine you rat!", i looked up and saw Dakota. He kicked the one holding my arm and punched the other, before pulling me out immediately.

"Who are you to issue orders weakling", the green said from behind us. "Its Dakota Tempest, get used to it", he called and the green shivered in fear. "Dakota", i said but he ignored me. He forced his foot down in a threatening matter, the three boys backed up more in the room. Dakota turned to me and gripped my wrist..

I just looked down as Dakota pulled me away, away to somewhere i don't know.

He lead me to a secluded balcony. He let go and i walked over to lean on the railing while looking at the view. It was the most gorgeous view i have ever seen. I jumped when i felt Dakota behind me. He wrapped his arms round my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder. "Im sorry", he mumbled. I shook my head. "Its not your fault, its mine for trusting some guys who clearly looked disgusting".

"thank you, i was so scared", i said with my voice cracking, tears pricked my eyes. His grip tightened round me and Dakota now nuzzled his head into my hair. It was comforting and warm. "Its okay cause its all over", he said and i wiped my tears. "Oh by the way what did you mean by don't touch whats mine", i asked and he nuzzled his face even further into me.
