It wasn't long after Daisy and Jake reached their home that Jacob phases for the first time. Sam and Issac were there, awaiting the moment.

Jacob, who deep down knew what was going to happen, was frantic at first. Loud whimpers leaving his throat as he looked to his father and Daisy - who were watching through the living room window with tangled hands.

Both Daisy and Billy wanted to be out there, talking (writing in Daisy's case) Jacob through his first transition. Letting him know that it was okay and not the end of the world.

Billy and Daisy knew what Jacob's phasing meant more than any other wolf's. Jacob's phasing meant that there could be a new alpha - given Jacob's descendent compared to Sam's.

"Do you think he'll want to be alpha?" Billy asks Daisy, his eyes trained in his son's wolf form - which was looking back and forth between Issac and Sam's human forms.

Daisy shrugs her shoulders, crossing her arms over her chest. She was also curious if Jacob would take his rightful spot as alpha once he learned of the truth. She also wondered if Sam would give up his position without protest.

We should get you to bed. Daisy writes on her board, setting it in her uncle's lap before pulling his wheelchair away from the front window. This would take hours and both of them needed their sleep.

Daisy had sat on the couch, reading one of the books that rested on the coffee table, while she waited. The growls and whimpers outside had died down about an hour ago, so she knew it wouldn't be long until the boys came in.

And when they did, Daisy found the new wolf clinging to her chest with his arms wrapped around her waist dangerously tight. She could feel the shivers running through his body regardless of the immense heat he now radiated.

"How did you know I was turning?" Jacob whispered to his cousin minutes into their embrace. He leaned back, watching Daisy's marker dance along her board.

You got mad over nothing, your hands wouldn't stop shaking, and you were as hot as the damn sun. I'm mute Jake, not blind.

Jacob, Sam, and Issac all chuckle at Daisy's statement. Sam was happy that Daisy was the one to be with Jake during the very beginning portion of his shifting. She gave off a certain aura - an aura, a feeling of comfortability. When you were around her, you couldn't feel unsafe or uneasy. It was impossible to be at anything but ease in her presence.

Sam nor Issac knew if this was just a coincidence or if it was some sort of gift or supernatural ability Daisy possessed. But soon enough, they would find out.

"Jake," Sam says, gaining the attention of Daisy and Jacob. "We need to go to my house and introduce you to the rest of the pack."

"Could Daisy come?" Jake asks his alpha, his arm wrapped around his cousin's shoulder.

Sam shrugged his shoulder dismissively. "Doesn't matter to me. Ask Issac."

Jacob's eyes turned to Issac, who had his arms crossed and a sour look on his face. He knew Paul was with the rest of the pack at the house, meaning that Daisy would be with Paul again. As much as Issac was opposed to the idea, he knew he couldn't stop the budding relationship between the two.

But just because he wasn't going to stand in the way didn't mean he would ever like it.

"Fine," Issac rolls his eyes with his arms over his bare chest. "You are really going to regret that decision once you get there."

"Why?" Jacob asks, but Issac is already out of the front door. Sam shrugs again, a smirk on his face as he follows Issac out.

Jacob turns to Daisy, who has a large smile on her face as she shoves her feet into her shoes. She latches into his arm, pulling her towards the car. Since Daisy couldn't phase, she would drive herself and the new wolf to Emily's house. Jacob shouldn't phase yet, it would be too hard for him to return to his human form.

"What were they talking about? With Paul?" Jake asks Daisy, even though he knows she can't reply at the moment.

Daisy glances over at him, rolling her eyes before motion for her board. Jake picks it up, hands the uncapped marker to his cousin, and watches the road while Daisy quickly writes.

Let the elders tell you. One day you'll realize. Her sentence reads, leaving Jacob with an ominous feeling.

He had no idea what she meant by 'one day you'll realize' but he trusted Daisy, so he didn't push the topic any further.

The two of them pulled up outside of Emily and Sam's house, Issac and Sam already awaiting their arrival. Since his move to the Res, Issac and Sam have grown close - practically becoming co Alphas.

Why? Because Issac is rightfully Alpha, but turned down the offer. Sam had been in command for almost two years and Issac didn't want to ruin the packs flow and function.

Sam knew he had to offer his position up to Jacob as well, also given his dissent from the first Alpha in their tribe's history.

Daisy turned the car off and quickly slid out, smiling when she heard the chaos from inside of the home. She'd taken a large liking to the boys and Emily, falling in love with each of them.

"Daisy, will you go inside and tell the pack that we will be in later? We have some more business to attend to," Sam asked. Daisy nodded and made her way up into the porch, sensing the importance of their talk.

The second Daisy had crossed the threshold into the kitchen, she was bombarded with questions.

"Who is the new addition?"

"It's Jacob, isn't it?"

"Is he going to be Alpha?"

"Was it Quil or Jake?"

"Is his wolf sexier than mine?"

Daisy held her hands up, silencing the ruckus inside of the kitchen. She rolled her eyes at the boys and their excited faces.

Yes it was Jake. They'll be here soon, they have to discuss something important. Daisy wrote before fully walking into the kitchen.

Emily smiles at her, giving her a quick side hug before shoving Daisy in the direction of Paul, whose eyes have yet to leave her.

"Hey," he says, standing so she could sit down in her chair. She shakes her head, trying to deny his offer when Emily clears her throats behind them.

Daisy turns and watches Emily nod to the seat with a stern look. Daisy sighs, looking back to Paul before flopping down into the seat. She felt bad making him stand.

The glass door opened and the three missing wolves waltzed in. Cheers erupted from the boys, all clearly excited to see that Jacob has joined the pack. Embry stood and ran to his best friend's side, pulling him into a tight hug.

Paul leaned forward, resting his forearms against the back of Daisy's seat. She could feel his hot breath on her neck and it drove her crazy, knotting her insides together.

"Settle down," Sam finally said after a few minutes of cheering. His eyes looked about the room, surveying each of his brother's. "I think a bonfire is well overdue. Jacob, Issac, and Daisy have some legends they need to hear."

The wolf pack smiled, Paul more than the others. They all knew which stories would be shared at the fire.

The story of Imprinting.
