Chapter 1
Sarah slammed the door behind her.
''Why are my parents so stupid?'' she thought. " It's a party for god's sake it's not like I haven't been to one before''
But the truth was that Sarah hadn't actually been to a party before. Her parents never liked the people of Beckwourth. When people asked her at school if she wanted to come to their birthday party she would have to refuse knowing that her parents wouldn't approve. They were unreasonable and unfair but always right which Sarah hated about them the most.
This was the first time she had been invited to a party in 3 years. She was not going to let up this opportunity. Sarah also wanted to come because she knew a particular someone was going to be there. A boy named Oliver had asked her if she was going to be at the party. Forgetting about her parents she said yes. Later that night she asked her parents if she could go and with their answer (no) she stormed off to her room.
She knew this boy really liked her. What would happen if he thought she was a liar for saying she was going to be there when she wasn't? She had to go. This could damage whatever she had of a reputation. Sarah isn't giving up without a fight. So she opened her window, got her purse and climbed out the window. She hit the ground with a thud. She pulled herself up and ran like hell.
Sarah got to the house in a state. She was there though and that's what mattered. When she got to the door she didn't know whether to knock or just enter. When she was about to knock a prepubescent boy with a cigarette in his hand opened the door.
''Y'here for the party?" he asked with the cigarette still in his mouth.
''Ummm yeah, party" Sarah stumbled.
He pushed past her and walked into the garden swaying back and forth. She entered the house to see people dancing, smoking, kissing, stripping. So much class in one house. She scanned the room for Oliver, she finally found him standing beside a keg. Sarah walked over to him watching out for passed out people on the floor. She tried to flatten her messed up hair, but to no use she gave up. She stood three steps away from him. She breathed slowly and stepped forward.
"Hi Oliver" Sarah muttered.
Oliver swung his head over to look at Sarah.
"Ohhhh, hi Sarah" Oliver laughed.
"So I'm here"
"Obviously" he said sarcastically.
Sarah felt unsure about what was going on. She didn't know if he actually liked her or if he was just leading her on. She kept talking anyway, just in case.
"So, great party, hey" Sarah said trying to make small talk.
"What's your deal?!" He replied aggressively.
A voice behind Oliver shouted "Muslim wants the D Oliver!"
Sarah blushed in embarrassment. She felt like she was about to explode into a million pieces. As everyone was chanting "Muslim wants the D" Sarah ran out of the house and didn't stop till she got hit.....
