A butterfly.

A creature loved by many because of it's beauty.

It flutters it's wings through the sky freely

Without any any rules

Or anyone to tell it what to do

Or where to go.

But not many like to acknowledge what it goes through

To become better than it was before

To break out of its shell

To prove others wrong

Or maybe just itself.

The streets of Seoul were no different than they were yesterday. Business workers rushing to get home before dinner. Parents playing with their children at the park, smiles across their faces. And others just walking around the city, like you. You were one of the lucky victims to have a rough start at life. Your dream came true of coming to Seoul.

But now what?

You barely have enough money to pay for a house, let alone a month in an apartment. And you can't go back to America. Your parents hated the idea of you living across the world from them. Coming back would be a victory for them. They didn't even give you enough love from the start. So why go back? You came to start a new life, no matter the consequences. And that's what you're gonna do.

As you walked, the sun drifted down. The light slowly fading away from your view. Your anxiety was steadily rising as you had no place to sleep for the night. Well isn't this going to be pleasant. You kicked an empty can out of the sidewalk and watched it roll onto the grass. Your mind wasn't in the right place at the moment. As you sighed, you looked around your area for a cheap motel or something to stay in. But, you saw nothing. You ruffled your wavy hair in frustration. Aish. Why do I gotta deal with the shit these days? You thought as you kept walking along the empty sidewalk. To your luck, you found an empty bench by a park. You examined it as you got closer, and it seemed pretty decent. This'll do. You had a soft jacket on, but you didn't bother making it as a blanket. It was a bit chilly out, but not enough to freeze you while you sleep. You got into a somewhat comfortable position as you did a small prayer before you closed your eyes and tried your best to drift off to sleep.

At some point, you began to hear voices around you. You were too exhausted to hear their conversation until a few words made you open your eyes.

"Help her...alone...dangerous..."

Your eyes adjusted to the morning light as you noticed two figures standing in front of you. Instant fear rushed over you as you quickly sat up. Your eyes widened as the faces of the two men standing before you. They noticed you were awake and gave you a warm smile.

"Good morning." You looked at them confused until you recalled last night. You didn't have much to say to them. "Good morning..." You awkwardly replied as you rubbed your eye with the back of my hand. You examined their features. One man was shorter than the other, had black hair, long chin, and glasses. The other had light brown hair, tan skin, and a defined face. These guys are handsome. They're probably models or something.

"Why are you sleeping out here?" One of them asked. Why do you think? "Nothing important." You questioned why these guys care if you sleep out here or not. What do they want from me, cause I've got nothing to give them. "It is important because you shouldn't be out here on your own." The look in their eyes showed nothing but concern. It was almost annoying you how it felt as if they were showing you pity. "This wouldn't have happened if I had some money to afford a place to sleep." Your eyes widened as you instantly covered your mouth with your hand. The words rolled off your tongue so easily. Of course you had to fuck it up somehow. You were used to having to be on my own that you weren't used to keeping things in your mind.

The men looked at you surprised. "You don't have a place to stay?" No shit that's why I'm out here.

Instead of being blunt, you just slowly nodded your head at them. The situation was getting awkward. The men looked at each other and gave them surprised looks. Is it really not common for a girl to sleep out here? Then, they turn back to you.

"We can help you with staying a few nights in a place. But you can't tell anyone that we took you." Their offer caught you by surprise. Are they dead serious? They don't even know my name. Your expression was mixed with surprised and perplexed.

"Why not? Are you gonna kidnap me?" You crossed your arms as you stayed seated on the park bench. The shorter one's eyes widened, while the light brown haired man spoke up.

"Do you by any chance know who we are?"  You furrowed your eyebrows. Is he famous or something? I wouldn't be surprised telling by their looks.

You shook your head in response. You could sense that they seemed shocked but tried hiding it. The fixed themselves and continued on. "Well if you don't know, I don't think It's the best idea to have an idol kidnap someone."

Your eyes widened a bit. But honestly, you weren't all that surprised. These guys before you were very handsome. But still, meeting an idol is a pretty big deal. "Well, I had a hunch you were famous."

Before Taehyung could speak anymore, a phone rang suddenly, making you jump a bit. Jimin looked at his pocket and realized it was his phone. He fished it out and answered the call. "Hello? We're at the park right now." You stayed quiet, not wanting to interrupt the conversation. "Yes. Okay, we'll be there." With that, he brought his phone away from his ear and ended the call.

He slipped his phone back into his pocket. "If you're coming with us, then we have to go now. The other members are getting worried." You hesitantly nodded as you slowly stood up. "If you try anything I'll scream."

Jimin chuckled. "It's good that you keep your guard." We began walking along the sidewalk as the streets were soon to be filled with people. This place isn't too empty. They would be dumb is they tried anything here. The walk was silent for some time. The awkwardness was suffocating you slowly. You felt the need to say something. Anything.

"So," you hesitantly started. "How many others are there?" As you finished your sentence, you were deciding if that was a good way to start a conversation or not.

"Well," Taehyung started. "There's seven of us." Your eyes widened at his words. Seven? Damn, that's a lot of guys to stay with. My decisions are becoming worse by the day. You thought as you walked along side them. Jimin probably noticed your concern since he smiled a bit to himself. "Don't worry. We'll respect your privacy." I turned to look at him. His smile looked so warm. You decided to try trust him, since you didn't have much of a choice. You chuckled to yourself. This is such a dumb idea to follow two strangers you've never met. Idols or not, you don't know what they could do. You tried shaking off any negative thoughts as to not scare yourself. With a clear mind, you kept walking.

In the corner of your eye, you saw it there. A butterfly. Sitting gently on a flower. It's vibrant blue wings slowly moved. It seemed as if it was waiting for something. As you turned to look at it, it immediately flew off into the morning sky. You watched it disappear into the trees of the park. You tried turning your attention back to the two men along side you, but a question stayed in your head.

What was is waiting for?
