AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey, guys! So, this is my first fanfic. I've written imagines for Dan and Phil and my other account, but this is the first time I've ever attempted a BTS story. I'm not really the best writer for stuff like this because honestly, I just kind of go with my imagination (i don't plan things out, oops). So, forgive me, yeah? Okay. I hope you enjoy!
Oh, and Tae is in his last year of highschool in this. He's 19
-------------------------

Taehyung was happy. He went to a large school and had an incredible family and lots of friends. He had everything a kid could ever want. Tae's life was perfect.

Well, at least it was. It was a typical Friday, he just got home from school, had a little snack and settled into his room to think about a few things. Though, he was honestly kind of worried right now. Everyone expects him to be that picture teen, the ones people look up to and right now, he was far from it. Taehyung had a secret. A big one. And he knew his parents wouldn't be okay with it.

After what felt like years he stood up, sighing heavily. He had to tell them. He had to. The boy walked down the stairs, biting his lip as he saw his parents sitting on the couch. He walked in front of them, coughing to get their attention.

"Mom? Dad?" He spoke softly, sweating as they looked up at him. His mom gave him a friendly smile and he watched it melt off of her face as he spoke up again.

"I'm gay."

The boy fell to the ground as he was forced into his room, clutching onto his broken wrist. Surprisingly enough, he didn't feel it. It was like his brain shut down his ability to feel anything at all. Taehyung heard the click of the lock on the outside of his door and he knew he wouldn't be out for awhile. God, he wished he was wrong. Not even an hour later he smelt the smoke. He heard the shouts downstairs and the screeching sound of the family car pulling out of the driveway. They left him. They actually left him.

Before long the smell became unbearable and he walked to the door, touching the knob and crying out as it burned his hand. He was going to die. Kim Taehyung was going to die because he was gay and his parents didn't love him enough to save him. The boy whimpered and climbed into his bed, desperately holding onto the bear plush his grandmother gave him for his 6th birthday. He didn't want to die. Soon enough the flames made it into his room and it was hard to breathe. The smoke soon started to fill his lungs and he just covered up, shutting his eyes and willing himself to sleep. The lack of oxygen made him dizzy and he smiled slightly. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

If you would've asked Tae 3 years ago if he thought this would happen, he would've said no. He was sure his family loved him. But things change apparently. You know, he probably could've forgave the broken wrist but this...he'd never be able to forgive them for. Yet again, it wasn't like he'd ever have the chance to anyways. Soon enough he felt himself blacking out and he curled up tighter, listening to the sound of the sirens in the distance. He knew they were too late as the flames reached his sheets. Thankfully he was right about the pain. He didn't feel a single thing once he passed out.
