Chapter 12

Dakota's POV

It's been 2 days since we found out what we're having. And we never are alone! We leave for tour again tomorrow and Brantley has to do studio work. I'm pissed! Either someone is here or he isnt!

I feel like I'm doing something wrong! I wanna stay home, but don't wanna be away from him! These mood swings aren't helping or the fact that I'm the size of a damn whale! I have a doctor's appointment today, and I'm probably gonna go by myself.

I get up and take my medicine before getting ready. I just throw on tights and a T-shirt before grabbing my keys. As I'm walking down the steps the front door opens.

"What are you doing?" He asks.

"Doctor appointment." I reply, finally getting to the last step. I go to the kitchen, grab a banana and start to walk out.

"Let's go." Brantley says.

"Why are you going? Go back to work babe get ready to go on tour." I say, opening the door, but he stops me.

"Babe I canceled my tour. In my contract it says I can take a 2 year leave at any time. After I use that 2 years I have 6 months available as long as I start touring and do 3 months. Then I can quit touring and do shows when I want." He says.

"You didn't have to do that. You could have toured until right before the babies got here. But thank you." I say.

"I'll do anything for you. Let's go." He says. I must have fallen asleep on the way because he wakes me up and we walk into the office. We sign in and wait to be called in. When they call my name we get up and walk in the office.

"Well, we're gonna do some blood tests because I think your farther along then I said. I can be mistaken, but look at your belly." He says. He does the blood tests and sends them to the lab. "I saw your picture on social media and they were adorable" He adds putting the gel and wand on my belly. "It looks like the girl and one of the boys are twins. Expect them to be inceperable. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure. They're growing faster, or are more developed, than normal babies at 13 weeks. They look about 18 to 22 weeks. You should be giving birth around 34 or 35 weeks. Don't panic dad. Your fiance has done this plenty of time with other women." He says. Just then the nurse hands him the lab papers. "Well, they are only 15 weeks, 16 in 2 days, but they are growing faster. It's normal, we just are going to give you more prescriptions for IVs. In about 5 weeks you will be on bed rest. So around 22 weeks you will not be able to move around as much, only to the bathroom and baths or to appointments. About 28 to 30 weeks depending one how your doing at your next appointment you will be admitted into the hospital until you give birth. Just a warning, Brantley she will be hooked up to multiple machines when she is admitted. It's for her and the babies safety." He explains to us.

"That's fine doc. I don't let her up anyways unless necessary." He says.

"Good. Yall take care I'll see you soon." And we walk out saying our thanks. We get home and we eat. We sit on the couch watching movies. I'm cuddled into his side while we're watching straight outta Compton. I fall asleep and he carries me up the stairs.

Two weeks later

I'm not on bed rest yet, but next week I will be. I start my IV and pick up my phone. I snap a picture of my belly and post it on Twitter and Instagram.

I caption it: struggle of being pregnant with triplets! But hey its worth it. One more week before I'm bed ridden! 18 weeks down, 20 more to go! ❤ #blessed

"Babe! Come look at this." Brantley says, helping me out of bed. I walk with him taking the IV with me. "Close your eyes." I do as told. "Okay open!" He says and I gasp. It's the boys nursery.

I hug him and cry, it's so cute!! It's perfect! "Okay cover your eyes. One more." He tells me to open after we walk across the hall. I start crying again, it's Bailey's room!

Theyre both so cute! I hug him again! He's absolutely perfect!! We go back to the room and lay together while I finish my IV. We lay around until he goes and makes me food. I love my fiance. I can't wait to marry him.
