Dan

I need to find her and I need to talk to her before the press do. I'll be the laughing stock in the whole world if she tells the press that I made the story up.

I hurriedly left the function hall and went directly home, successfully dodging the questioning look on my manager's face. I could not care less about what the people think about me leaving like that when I stormed out of my car to my penthouse.

I directly went to my room and looked for the wallet she gave me. Erm, I mean the wallet I picked up. Damn, what did I got myself into? Opening the wallet, I once again saw the picture that haunted me for hours now. I think this picture is the reason why I blurted out those words to the press. I stared at her light green eyes and was mesmerized. I sighed.

Madison Brown, whoever you are, you're one hell of a trouble.

I found her library card in the wallet and dialed her contact number. I wonder why she goes into a public library. But whatever the reason is, I'm just fucking lucky that she got this in her wallet. I'd be screwed if I still got to find her out there somewhere in place I don't know where. Ha!

It's a good thing that her name is very common. It will be hard for the press to find her. Why the hell did I tell them she's ginger? It's weird, but I don't regret telling the public her name. It feels right to say it. Madison Brown, my girl. Really, I think I'm going crazy.

Madison Brown.

What if she's already married? I'll be dead for sure.

I unsuccessfully tried to set aside that annoying thought.

"Hi, Maddie Brown speaking." A pretty voice answered. My heart beats faster than normal. Her voice is enchanting. It feels like I heard her voice before. It's like somehow, I know her voice.

"Maddie?"

"Yes?"

"I thought your name is Madison Brown."

"This is her speaking. What can I do for you?" She said, sounding irritated.

I want to meet you because I told the whole world that we are together. Nope. That will scare her off.

"Well, you don't need to sound irritated, Ms. Red Hottie."

"Look, I don't know how you got my number but the next time you call again, not only will I block you, but also I'll report your number to the police and sue you for harassment. Understood?"

Damn she's feisty.

"I got your wallet." I said before she turns the call off. "And you don't need to make an effort trying to scare me, Ms. Feisty Red Hottie because I can assure you, contacting a person for the purpose of returning her lost wallet can never be considered as harassment." I added.

"You got my wallet?" She said softly after a moment. I think my heart skips a beat.

"If this bright pink wallet with eighty-eight dollars, a library card, and a picture of a flaming red hotness is yours, then yes."

There was a silence for another few seconds before she replied.

"Yes.. It's mine. Can you return it, please?"

"That was one of the reason why I called, Ms. Red Hottie. But I must admit, hearing you beg is very satisfying." I can't help myself saying. Shit, I hope I didn't offend her. What's with my uncontrollable mouth today?

"Excuse me, Mr. Whatever-Your-Hair-Color-Jackass. I most definitely did not beg. So now be the good guy and just give my wallet back before I decide to track your number and report you." But oh yes, most definitely feisty. She's turning me on.

"Mr. Raven Hotness is enough for me, Red Hottie. Send me your address and I'll bring it over."

"No! Just bring it to the police station and I'll pick it up from there." Oh no. Can't do that.

"What? That's how you're going to treat the person who gave your wallet back? By making him talk to the police?" There was a few seconds of silence before she replied.

"Fine. I'll just meet you. When are you free?"

"That's more I like it." I said cheerfully. "I already alloted my tonight for you, Red. I got classes tomorrow." Nice, looks like what I told my grandma will happen, after all.

"Fine by me. I'll text you the time and place." Hell, she's feisty AND bossy.

"OK, Boss Red. I'll be waiting hottie." I said. Funny, it seems like I got no problem with her bossing me around. Maybe because I need her help to obstruct my impeding death?

"OK. Bye." She said and hang up.

"Bye, Ms. Red Hotness." I told the disconnected phone. She's so fiery. I laughed as I remember her threats of suing me of harassment and tracking me. Well, maybe she can have grounds of suing me. After all, I am planning to actually track her. I laughed again as I dialed my phone.

"Austin, I need you to investigate someone for me."
