The sun was beaming down on my face. It kept it warm, also not letting me see properly. My legs were scorching under my black shirt. My hair was swaying as the wind brushed against it.

The sun burned down on my arms. It was as hot as the depths of hell. My arms scorched like a desert. I feel pretty lucky not being burnt by the sun, seeming it is 49°C. It was early afternoon.

I walked through the busy streets. Ear phones were plugged into my ears as the other part was connected to the phone. I was like in a song video as I danced in the streets.

I was like two blocks away from my apartment. On Prix Road. My apartment was in a lovely area, but unfortunately I had to move since the place was getting shut down.

Moving is sad, and distraught, since you do not know where to go. Scary... Isn't it, not knowing any knowledge about the house.

Anyway, I had good friends. Actually, not good but great friends!

I was quite tall for my age. My dad always said I looked like him. But then my mom also said I look like her. I didn't think either, I was a tall boy with blue eyes. (My Real Eye Colour). My dad nor mom has blue eyes. The closest is green, which originates from my mom. I had brown hair with blonde. And it was a bit long. Not long enough for a ponytail, but long enough for me.

Now I was one block away, step by step, tensing my muscles as I moved through masses of people. I then looked down at my phone to change song, then I bumped into someone.
"Oh, Er, really sorry." I said in a manly-ish tone.
"Next time, look where you are going!" An angry toned voice said. It sounded like that who ever said it had a recent argument. I didn't bother look up nor see who it was, until I knew whoever it was, was out of my vicinity.

The person was out of it, if not, I couldn't see him/her. Anyway, I kept walking, keeping my fixated what is in front of me.

I saw the sign saying Prix Road, I picked up the pace to at least get back quicker. I reached the door to my apartment building. I entered the building, placing my bag and coat on the hanger.
"How was your day?" My mom asked.
"Okay, I guess?" I replied.
"What'ya mean?" My mom asked.
I shrugged it off, me being really sensitive. It was only because I walked into another person. Another person! Stop being a girl! My mind said. My mom looked disappointed that I did not answer. Me being me, I ignored it like everyone ignores them little wittle details. Unless you are really petty.

The inside of the house was so hot that it could probably be burnt to crisp. Anyhow, I reached my bedroom, hoping for a nice, comfy, warm bed. Which to my surprise, no.

It looked like I had a new bed, but why? It didn't look comfy, and it sure wasn't. They did say they had a prize for me, after my day out, but this has to be a joke. Then I rotated to face my desk. A new phone was resting on its top. An iPhone 7 was on the desk. It was begging to be opened.

My eyes sparkled with happiness and joyfulness. I couldn't plead more, opening it would probably be a new world. No wait, am I over exaggerating?

It obviously won't open up a new world, but I feel like it.

I opened it up slowly and carefully. I was scared to drop it. Then my sister walked in. A year older than me, and is called Caitlin.

My family is a great one. We support each other. Me; Elijah and Caitlin are kind of best friends in a way. We never fallen out, always been by each others side.

After playing around with it, I finally lay upon my bed.
"How are you?" I asked Caitlin.
"I am good, yourself Elijah?" She asked me.
I stuck my thumbs up to show I am good.

My bed had a warmth touch. Although it was really uncomfortable. I layed still for a while, sighing at how to work it. Well I knew, just it was confusing.

As it got later in the day, the sun went down.

Sorry for not having a long chapter, but I have hopes for this book. Love my fans.
