"Shit just got real," Meredith said as soon as I told her what happened. As soon as I nodded I had bolted out of that janitor’s closet as fast as I could.

"Damn straight," I muttered. If that boy thought he could mess with me, he was dead wrong.

"So what are you going to do?" She asked, switching into a sitting position on top of my bed.

"Well, I'll give him what he wants."

"But, then doesn't he win?"

"Nope," I popped the ‘p’. If he wanted me to play along, I would play along, but with everything came with a consequence.

"Huh?"

"I will win, eventually. I always win." My phone rang on my bedside table, indicating a text, "Can you get that?" I asked, too lazy to get up from my spot on the floor.

She reached for my phone and read through the message, "Err. Brandon wants you to come outside." Great, what did that jerk want? Didn’t he torture me enough? Did he not understand the word no?

I groaned, "Tell him I'm busy."

She shrugged and placed my phone back on the counter after she had typed the message. It rang again. I swear that boy, I was going to kill him.

"He says now," she giggled and tossed my phone to me.

"Impatient little mutt," I whispered to myself as I got up and walked to the front door. Maybe if I kicked him in the sacred area he would go away. I mean, it was worth a try, right?  . . . Then again, I would be dirtying my shoe or knee.

I swung the door open angrily. He stood there with a confident smirk, his eyes gleaming with victory and arrogance. I glared. "What do you want?" I asked impatiently.

"Did you forget you were supposed to come over?" He asked, taking a step toward me and pushing my hair out of my face. Ew! He touched me! My poor hair!

I took a step back uncomfortably, "I said I didn’t want to.” Did he not understand that? He was so freaking stupid!

"You don't have a choice," he growled, and I detected annoyance and irritation in his voice. Yeah, you’re not the only one, buddy. I rolled my eyes. Excuse him, I did have a choice.

"I do have a choice," I voiced, "And quite frankly, I don't give a damn what you think." There, told him like a boss. My thoughts were warily spiraling to actually kicking him in his dark spot.

"Well that's too bad . . .” he trailed off and a devious smirk formed. What was he---was he going to—oh, no. "I didn't think I would have to come to this, but I guess you’re as stubborn as they say.” He pulled out his phone and pulled up something on his screen. My muscles tensed at what was coming. “Don’t we look so cozy, together?” he chuckled, flashing the picture on his phone. I cringed at the sight of us kissing. Two options appeared in front of the picture: “Send to all contacts” and “Choose recipient”. “Send to all contacts” was highlighted, and his thumb was on top of the send button.
