It all started a month ago when all the food started dissappearing. It was kind of like the hunger games, we had to search for food. Food was scarce. We could barely find anything but fruit. Good thing we all had powers that could save us from eating.
Kat's P.O.V
Patrick and I were on our date when we heard the news that crops were dissappearing. Jake's my friend. There was something about him that was always fun. Patrick really didn't know him, so eventually I knew I was going to have to tell him about him. I just hope he likes him.
Jake's P.O.V
Although food was running out, I was half bat, I had super powers, and I was an assassin. If you don't know i can make that name to superbatass. Usually I'd be hanging out with my friend Kat. She and her boyfriend Patrick had just went out to dinner when I chose to climb on top of their resturaunt and watch the tv. I usually climb just for fun but i thought I'd watch the news. I heard the news and i was about to call Kat but you know she was right under me.
Patrick's pov
Me and my beautiful girlfriend Kat were out to dinner when we heard that food was going to be scarce for the next century. Me and Kat decided to leave when we heard it because we had enemies. Ones you couldn't imagine. This wasn't just going to be like the hunger games, it was going to be like the hunger games plus the walking dead.

Little did they know that Slenderman and his goons were coming after them. It was almost like they were only waiting for them to come and catch them. Good thing they all have powers.Kat and Patrick don't know about they're powers, but Jake does.
Kat's pov
After I told Patrick about Jake he was kind of mad. He was mad that I didn't tell him. But he forgave me. Just at that moment Jake swooped in through the window. But only I could see him because Patrick's back was pointing to the wall.He hid and decided to text me what he had to tell me. I was surprised by the news. He had superpowers and so did me and Patrick. After this, it all went south.
News reporter:There seems to be more people on earth than food now. People are now going mental. If you hear this and you're at home LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS BECAUSE IT'S ABOUT TO GO DOWNN.*gets tackled and kidnapped*
Jake's pov
After hearing the news I decided to go investigate, I'm almost like Batman with my own twist. I flew to where the reporter had been reporting what happened and then investigated the scene. After I was done I chose to go check on Kat. Because the reporter had not only been kidnapped, she'd been raped and killed. By one of my enemies, Slenderman. When I got there all I could see was Kat's boyfriend laying on the couch and Kat being taken away by some of Slenderman's goons.I sprinted over there so fast you could see a reflection behind me. i kicked the goon dragging her in the face, grabbed Kat, and we ran and hid. Patrick woke up and found us, he was mad he started yelling all I said was SHUT UP BEFO U GET US KILLED.
Patrick:What are you doing here? Who are you? Kat why are you hiding? Don't tell me you cheating!
Kat:I'm not cheating Jake just saved me from being kidnapped by slenderman's goons. Have you never seen the movie. He kidnaps people, rapes them, and then kills them. Do you want that to happen!?
