I'm laying in my bed, alone, surrounded by darkness. Not the good, quiet darkness... no... definitely not. This is the bad, deafening kind of darkness. The kind that suffocates you, and makes it so you can't escape your thoughts, as if your thoughts are the only things you can hear.
Sure, I hear other things, like his voice, and his laugh. I can't hear what he's saying, and I don't know who he's talking to. I lay here and, in the darkness behind my closed eyelids, I see him, standing there, smiling. It brings a smile to my chapped, broken lips, til I remember. I've seen this, I know what's going to happen. I look slightly to the right of him, and sure enough, SHE'S there. The girl with the long, tan legs, perfect body, beautiful face, and long, dark, glossy hair.
She pauses, and turns my way. She turns back to him, and kisses him. He kisses her back. She places his hand on her lower back and brings her own to his chest. She stops kissing him.
As I look back on this memory, I realize his eyes are dazed, and glossy. And when she looks at me, I see something that makes me open my eyes, breathing heavily.
Behind her beautiful appearance, I could see dead fish eyes, large patches of hair missing on her head, and a crooked, uneven mouth full of sharp teeth.
