Temptations (Edward Cullen love story)

Chapter 17

After getting a ride back home from Alice since Edward went off to hunt, before our date, I noticed a strange red vehicle parked in my yard as Alice pulled away. My dads car was still gone so I was a bit confused by the red jeep. I grabbed my pepper spray and slowly opened my door to find a tan skinned black haired boy in shorts and a green tank standing in my living room. He glanced over at me as I came into the house.
    "Can I help you?" I asked the guy as I sat my bags down. He continued to just stare at me. "Look I don't know what you want but I have pepper spray in me so I'd stay back if I were you". He just chuckled.
    "Like that's going to help you". Finally barked at me. I slide a hand on my hip.
    "Excuse me".
    "Look i don't know what your business with the Cullen's are, but there dangerous". He stated.    
     "First of all you don't know me and I don't know you and second my business with them is not your problem". I stated firm to him. He just rolled his eyes at me.
    "My names Jacob". He introduced himself. At soon as he said his name I stepped back a few inches and grabbed onto the spray harder. There was a werewolf in my house and my entire body froze.
    "As in Jacob Black...werewolf".
    "Guess you know our secret, but do you know there's?" Jacob said.
     "Edward...told me everything and even what Bella did to him". I replied softly. "Look I need you to leave. Now!"
     "Whatever. But I'm warning you Gabby to stay away from them. Especially Edward". Jacob warned me. I just shook my head and opened the door. As he stepped out of my house he glared into my eyes and I just stared back at him. He could have told me that they were dangerous for years and I wouldn't believe him. From what I had witnessed Edward and his family were kind caring vampires that didn't want to harm anyone. Jacob seemed to just gloss over that fact. I shook my head as he jeep pulled out the driveway and I went straight up to my bedroom to get ready for my date.

   I finished adjusting my black top as my phone buzzed in the dresser next to me. I reached for it to find that Mike had texted me.
    "I'm sorry about Friday Gabby. I'm just worried about you. I care about you and don't want you to get hurt. Call me later okay? -Mike"
                 I clicked my phone off and decided that I'd call him later. Then I grabbed a clip from jewelry box and pulled my hair up into it. Sometimes I hated having long hair that I had to put up. It was always a pain and sometimes I wished that I would just cut it. I smiled at my reflection in the mirror and heard a knock on my door. The smile on my face grew larger and I raced down the stairs to find an angry Edward at my door.
    "One of them was here". He stated firm as I let him come in. I wrapped my arms around me and nodded my head.
    "Jacob was waiting for me when I came here". I answered him. Edward growled and looked around the house.
    "What did he want?"
I sighed. "He wanted to warn me about you and your family. He said that you were dangerous and i told him that I didn't care". I answered him truthfully. Edward turned his attention back to me and smiled slightly.
     "I'm glad he didn't hurt you". He said as he walked over to me. I smiled back at leaned up to kiss him.
    "Me too. I was just glad that he left right away. Having a werewolf in my house doesn't exactly make me feel safe". I said as Edward raised an eyebrow at me.
     "But a vampire does?"
I smiled. "You don't scare me. Jacob and his kind do". I wrapped my arms around Edward as he did the same and planted a kiss on my forehead.
    "I love you Gabby. I truly mean it". Edward stated. I smiled and rested my head against his chest.
    "I love you Edward". I said as I leaned up to brush my lips against his.
     "Shall we get going?" Edward said breaking away from my body. I pulled my hair back and nodded my head flushed by how deep our kiss was. He reached out for my hand and I took it in his knowing that nothing would happen to me so long as Edward was always with me.

And that's the end! I know this story didn't really have a plot, but I just really wanted to write an Edward Cullen love story!
