The Thinning! (The thinning Fanfic)

Hi I'm Maddie. I am in 6th grade and it's ok. I have an older sister named Laina. She is really smart. She loves to read and things. Our parents died about one year ago so Laina takes care of us. I also have a brother named Jacob. We take tests called the Thinning. There very hard. I have past so far. I don't want to know if I don't pass. Laina works hard. I woke up this morning to Jacob shaking me. "Maddie its study day!" He said. He's only 4 so he doesn't have the test. I groaned and turned then falling off my bed. I bumped my head sitting up. I rubbed it. My head was now pounding. I put my hair in a ponytail and walked to the kitchen table. Tomorrow is the Thinning test and I'm super scared. I walk out and start to cry at seeing my books. Laina came to me and hugged me. "It's going to be ok your not going to fail your going to be just fine." She reassured me. I nodded then opened my books. It has been 3 hours and she then gave me a pop quiz. "826 x 737?" "608,762!" "What county has the most important test on earth?" "America!" "What country has the most oil?" "Canada!" "What country has the most people?" "America!" "Good job Maddie." She said hugging me. "Your going to do great!" I felt tears come in my eyes. She then went to her books and studied. This test is a big deal. I don't know what I would do if me or Laina failed. I would have a break down. I walked to my room and sat on my bed. I grabbed my tablet and did the practice test. I finished it and I failed it. I paced my room sweating and crying. What I know I got all of those right. It was dinner and Laina cooked while studying. We ate dinner and went to bed at 7:45 tomorrow is the Thinning.
