Ink yawned and sat up, tiredly pulling the bed sheets off of him, wearing nothing but a white t-shirt and some blue shorts. Another day, he thought to himself. He sighed, his legs dangling off of the edge of the bed. He waited a few minutes, then fully hopped down onto the cold floor. He put some slippers on and walked to his door, opening it. He slowly stepped into the hallway, past what used to be his brother Papyrus' room but was now just a spare which he knew no one would ever use, and down the stairs.
Ink went into the kitchen and made himself some breakfast. Nothing complicated, just some simple scrambled eggs and bacon. He walked into the living room and sat down on the couch, reaching for the remote. He took it and turned on the TV. It was Outerfell!Mettaton's game show. He decided to just watch it while he ate, and he would just change the channel after.
He ate quickly and watched the show. It was a bit boring. After he finished eating, he went back into the kitchen, washed his plate and back into the living room. He sat back down on the couch, leaning back. He took the remote again, and changed the channel to some anime. He liked anime, so he watched it. It was called something like Yuri!!! on ICE. He liked the genre of the anime in general, and got hooked quickly. People called him a Fujoshi, even though he wasn't a girl.
Just as he was about to move onto his tenth episode in a row, his phone rang from beside him. He looked at it. He was getting a call from his buddy Blueberry. He tapped the light green button lightly and put the phone to where his ear would be. "Hello?" he asked. "Hey, Ink!" Blueberry greeted. "What's up?" Ink said, pausing his anime so he wouldn't miss it. Sure, he already missed some, but that's all right. "I was wondering if you'd want to come over to my AU! I'm inviting all my friends! We're gonna have a sleepover at my house. Would you like to come?" Blueberry asked. Ink's face turned from a frown into a wide grin. "Of course, Blue! I'll be there at 12, 'kay?" Ink said, now in his enthusiastic, happy mood. He just loved hanging out with Blue. "Awesome! See you there!" Blueberry replied, hanging up. Ink smiled as he put the phone down, going back up to his room to get dressed.
Up the stairs and into his room, he stood before his mirror and put his hands on his hips. "This is going to be great!" He thought out loud, excited... maybe too excited. Before he could say, think, or do anything else, he vomited black ink all over his pajamas. He looked down in disgust. "Ew..." He cringed. 'Ew' was the only word that could come out of his mouth right now. He wiped ink from his mouth with his arm and groaned. He went into his closet, picked out his usual clothes and ran into the bathroom, slamming the door shut. He didn't have to lock it, since no one else was in the house with him. No one lived with him, to be exact.
He took a shower, put on his clothes and put the ink-stained ones in the garbage. He was sure he wouldn't be able to get the ink off. He didn't even want to try. He opened the door when he was finished and stepped out into the hallway. He checked the time. 11:58 AM. He had two minutes to get to Blueberry's house. That'd be easy, since he could just open a rift.
And so, he did. He stepped inside, onto the green grass. There was no snow in Underswap's Snowdin, ironically. He was already in front of Blueberry's house, so he didn't have to do any walking. He slowly raised his hand and knocked on the door. He waited for an answer. Around 30 seconds later, Papyrus opened the door. "Oh. It's you." He said, a cigarette in his left hand. Ink nodded. He didn't have a very good history with Papyrus. "Uh.. hey. Come in. I'm guessing you're here for the sleepover or something like that." Papyrus opened the door wider, putting the cigarette back into his mouth. "Yeah." Ink answered, walking inside.
Right when he stepped into the living room, a skeleton jumped at him and wrapped his arms around him, hugging him. "Blue?" Ink looked at the skeleton. Yes, it was Blue. "You're right on time!" Blueberry grinned, letting go of Ink and putting his hands behind his back. "Is anyone else here yet?" Ink asked, curious. He felt weird if he was alone here. "Fell's been here, so, kind of. Everyone else'll start coming in around fifteen minutes or so." Blue answered. Ink nodded and sat down on the couch. Fell came from downstairs. "'Ello, Paintbrush." He waved to Ink and walked past him into the kitchen. Ink just responded back with a wave.
About fifteen minutes of sitting on the couch, being made fun of by Fell and talking to Blue, more people began to come in. Reaper came in first with Geno, then Lust with Fresh and Outer, a few others. The last people to arrive were two black skeletons that looked somewhat similar. The first one kind of looked like Ink; green scarf, black shortsleeved-shirt with green sleeves, black shorts and green sneakers. The other had blue bleed marks under his eyes, a blue scarf, a red shirt, black jacket and shorts and red slippers. The latter really caught Ink's attention.
When the two skeletons walked in, everyone became silent. They all just stared.
"And who the heck invited you?" Fell growled, pointing to the skeleton with the blue scarf. "We-ll-l, is-isn't that a-a ni-i-ce wa-y-y to-to wel-wel-welcom-e som-eone!" He replied sarcastically. His voice was glitchy, and he sounded like that yellow dorito man from that show about the two kids. Except his voice was a bit deeper.
The one with the green scarf elbowed the blue scarf. "SShut uppp." He whispered. The blue scarf shrugged. They both came over to the couch. It was occupied with Ink on the left, Dream on the right and Blueberry in the middle. The two skeletons sat on top of the couch. Everyone kept staring. "Whhaat?" The green scarf asked. "We're nott baad guyss or anythhhingg."
"He is." Fell replied, still pointing to the blue scarf. "Ehhhh. Hee's cool withh me." The green scarf leaned back, putting his hands behind his head. "He's fine!" Blueberry said. "Sorry about that." Blue smiled at the two. "It-It's fine-e." The blue scarf replied. Blueberry looked at Ink, who had been watching the blue scarf since he had walked through the door. "You seem to like him." Blueberry smiled. Ink shook his head. "What's his name?" He asked. "The one with the green scarf is Code. The one with the blue one is Error." Blueberry answered. "You know how your AUs get destroyed sometimes?" Blueberry asked Ink. Ink nodded, thinking of the times where he'd gone to visit them, but all that was there was a blank canvas and a bit of dust. "Error destroys them. Code kinda makes them. He codes them, actually." Blueberry said.
Ink nodded slowly. He didn't care if the guy he was crushing on was the one who destroyed his AUs. He didn't even know why he did it. He didn't really want to ask. He looked back up at Error and Code. Code was teasing him. "Sto-p-p." Error groaned. Code giggled a bit. Ink looked back at Blueberry. "Are they dating..?" Ink asked him. Blueberry shook his head. "No, I don't think so. They're really close, though. Why don't you ask them?" Blueberry suggested. Ink thought it was a bad idea, but decided to anyway. "Uh.. hey?" Ink said, looking at them both. They looked down at him. "Heyya." Code waved. "H-ell-o-o?" Error said, sounding completely ticked off. "Um.. are you two.. a thing..?" Ink asked nervously, making hand gestures. Error stared at Code like he was insane, but all Code did was laugh. "I wiissh." Code smiled, still laughing. Error rolled his eyes. Ink nodded, looking back down. He began to play with his hands.
A few minutes later, everything was all set. Blueberry got up, standing in front of the room. He cleared his throat. Everyone stopped talking and looked at him. "Attention, everyone!" Blueberry grinned. "It's time to begin to sleepover. Who votes we should play a game first?" He asked. Mostly everyone raised their hand, except Fell, Ink, Geno and Error. Blueberry shrugged. "All right then, we'll play a game. Ideas?" A few people raised their hand. Blue called on Lust.
"How about we play a nice game of Truth or Dare~?"
