Even though I was a ghost I hid in the underbrush to avoid being spotted by Autumn. I was absolutely fascinated by her, having never seen any woman like her before. She sighed and looked up to the clear blue sky, mumbling something I couldn't quite pick up.

It seemed that she would be living here. This was my home, I couldn't leave! So I would just have to hide myself to make sure Autumn didn't discover my existence. I last thing I wanted to do was scare her, but I was so curious. She walked through the patches of dry crunchy grass that led up to the house a little ways away from the barn. I gazed intently as she reached in the pocket of her blue jeans and pulled out a key.

She must have bought the barn, nothing else makes sense of why she had the key! I didn't know what to think. I didn't know what to do. I was panicking and I know my heart would have raced if I still had one, just like the night the Europeans raided my village. I don't know if the rest of my family survived. Maybe I'm a great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandmother, or grandghost.

I was angry that this woman had the nerve to invade my home like that! Maybe she was descended from the people who had slaughter my family. At that moment I swore to myself if so I would kill her! I didn't how i would if need be, but I would. Despite all this I was happy in a way, I hadn't seen anyone or heard anyone is all this time. Maybe we could become friends and coexist. Who was I kidding? I was getting way ahead of myself, I had learned that peace is impossible in this world. Oh, how my village had tried to make piece with them accepting all their trades even if they were unfair, just to keep them happy.
