"Sehun! Wait for me!" I chased my best friend down the hall.
He stopped and waited for me to catch up to him, "CJ, what class are you in this year?"
"3-3, you?"
"Me too!"
"What? I can't believe they didn't separate us after we ran out that Chinese teacher last year," I laughed.
"I can't believe you guys did that," Jungkook and Yugyeom also caught up to us.
"You second years should be thanking us. That guy was old and creepy," I said matter-of-factly.
"Have you seen the new Chinese teacher yet, CJ-noona?" Yugyeom asked.
"I told you not to call me noona, it's weird."
"It's respectful," Jungkook protested on Yugyeom's behalf.
"Anyways, I haven't seen him, but I'll tell you what I think about him, the bell is going to ring soon anyways, we'll go early and get the first look!" Sehun and I rushed to class, selecting two seats next to each other in the very back.
"First ones here," I got a good glance at the new Chinese teacher, and decided right away that he was super hot, "Choi Jisoo and Oh Sehun, I've heard lots about you."
"It's CJ," I corrected, "I go by CJ, sir."
Sehun looked at me in a somewhat offended matter because I'd just been so respectful.
"You'll go by what I call you, Jisoo."
"I won't answer to it."
"Fine," He smiled, my heart skipped a beat, "It's your grade. If you want to pass you are required to participate."
Why did I think that this total asshole was so attractive?
"As I was saying, I've heard a lot about two, meaning, there's no way I'm letting you sit in the back, or next to each other," He pointed to the middle front desk, "You sit there Jisoo," He pointed to the front right desk, "Sehun, you there."
"Hell no!" Sehun said, "I'm not sitting way up there."
"It's your grade," He was going to say this a lot, wasn't he?
Sehun reluctantly went to his new seat, I didn't move, I was a rock.
"I suggest you move if you want to graduate. I don't want to fail you just because you didn't listen to me."
"You wouldn't."
"Okay, let's go," He picked me up. He picked me up! What the hell?
"Put me down, you lunatic!" I kicked and punched, this was so embarrassing, even if it was just in front of Sehun. He put me down in my new assigned seat, "You're so weird!"
"Now you know to listen to me," The bell rang and more students filed in, none of them bothering to look at Sehun and I or the new teacher.
When everyone else was sat down he started the class, "Hello, class I am Mr. Huang. To break the ice I thought we could go around the room and say our favorite Chinese words."
The two people before me said cliche words like "hope" or "peace." When it was my turn I thought hard about something that would piss him off, "chī shǐ," This basically means "eat shit."
Laughter and howling sounds came from almost everyone in the class.
"Well, I hope you eat shit too, Jisoo," Mr. Huang smiled, I just couldn't push his buttons. It was so annoying when he smiled like that. Everyone around the classroom now laughed at me instead of with me. The class period seemed to last forever. I successfully got through the rest of the morning classes before lunch.
"Okay, you guys have to hear about the new Chinese teacher," Sehun was already laughing.
"No, it's humiliating."
"Well first off, he's young and handsome, and I think CJ fell in love with him."
"I did not!" A blush spread across my cheeks.
"Noona, you're blushing," Jungkook giggled.
"Shut up!"
"When she wouldn't go to her seat, Mr. Huang picked her up. She looked like a tomato."
"I hate you, Sehun."
"No, you can't hate me. Mr. Huang told me that the other teachers call us "the devil twins." That means you have to love me because now I'm your brother."
"So other than the teacher, how's Chinese?" Yugyeom asked.
"My Chinese is good. CJ's sucks."
"Be real, Sehun, yours isn't that much better. I wouldn't have you tutor me," I sighed, "But at the rate I'm going, there's no way I'm going to pass."
"You could sign up for after-school classes, that shouldn't be a problem, considering you're in love with the Chinese teacher," Jungkook teased.
"You should be nicer to your noona."
"You told us not to call you noona."
"Even if you don't call me noona, I'm still your noona."
"Love has her brain all confused."
"I'm not in love with that jerk!" I got up from the table. Maybe Jungkook was right though. After-school classes couldn't hurt. I found myself in Mr. Huang's classroom.
"You're interrupting my lunch for what reason, Jisoo?"
"Can I do after school classes?"
He handed me a sign-up sheet without answering me.
"Can I borrow a pencil?"
He handed me a pencil, "Can you stop asking me questions?"
I sat at my usual desk an examined the sheet, " Why do I want to do after school classes?" Is this just full of stupid embarrassing questions?"
"Shut up!"
I flinched, I kind of wondered why he was always so angry, I decided to annoy him more, "I broke my pencil," He threw a different pencil at me, "Ouch! That hurt, you asshole. I'm going to tell the principal."
"Like he'll listen to you, you little shit."
"Hey! You're the little shit!"
"Then why do you want to take after-school classes with me?" He slammed his hands on the front of my desk and leaned over me. I could feel my cheeks heating up and I couldn't meet his gaze, I looked down, "Hey, look at me while I'm talking to you!" He grabbed my face and forced my eyes to meet his, "Awe, you're blushing. You like me."
"In your dreams, pervert," I pushed him away, "You're distracting me from filling this out."
He took the sheet from my desk, "Whatever, just be back here at six o' clock. Get out."
