Chapter three

I woke up with a bad headache. "Oh my god my heads killing me" I said to my self I got out of bed and went to shantels room. "Hey, bestie guess what I'm eating? Icccccceeeeeecrrrrreeeeeaaammm..." I said yelling. "And I'm eating poppppp corrrnn " she yelled cause us to laugh. "Girl I got a headache" I said wonder if she got one too. "Girl me too, I got some ibuprofen, need some?" She said/asked getting out the bed to get it. "Yeah let me get 3" I said holding up 4 fingers. " bitch why the fuck you got up four fingers" shantel asked laughing. "I'm still tired, why you judging me?" I said/ asked seating on the bed as I laughed. "I seen you and kaleb all lovey dovey on each other" she said reaching me three ibuprofen pills. "Girl yes he was showing out, I mean showing all the way out, he was grabbing on my ass, hugging me for a long periodically time, taking shots and everything girl" I said drinking some water from her water bottle. "Girl you was wild last night, I was like bae, look at bestie over there showing out and he was like I never seen her act like that but I'm finna go smoke this blunt, you coming or nah? Like don't change the subject when we talking about bestie, and oh so he asked me for your number and I gave it to him" she said seating at the end of the bed. "Ahhhhhh" I screamed jumping up. "Girl Maury finna come on, let's see if he the father or not" she said laying down. I laid in bed the opposite way so I could see the t.v next thing you know we was out for 3 hours. When we woke up we went downstairs to get something to eat. Who don't  be hungry when they wake up? I can't speak for y'all but I can say we can eat 3 times and still be hungry. After we eat our full course breakfast meal we strolled through our social medias and even predicted how sophomore year of collage would be and how long summer would be since we got out of school for summer earlier then high school. 45 minutes later shantel suggested we go swimming. "Lay let's go swimming or feet skinny deeping *is what we call just deeping your feet // *I made it up*" she said watching people from our community pool have fun from across our apartment. Later The door bell ringed and I answered the door reviling Kev. "Ohhhh, Kev's at the door, bestie Kev's at the door, what up Kev from the hood?" I asked letting him in. "Get your asses dress let's go to the pool" he said sitting on the couch. I called him Kev from the hood cause it fits him, every dude has a hood name and I gave it to him as it pop in my head. "Hey Kev" shantel said coming down stairs. " hey" he said spreading his arm for a hug. "Y'all got sum snacks?" He asked looking in the cabinets. " Ik damn well you ain't come for a snack The best part about it is there is no kids cause these apartments are for teens in college. Don't get me wrong people do bring there younger siblings and some teens with kids bring their kids. Everybody could bring one guess and they check to make sure too they are really strict on the one guess to the pool thing. After viewing the pool from across our apartment we run up stairs finding our bathing suits putting it on. We grabbed our towel and shades and and pool Id. You just scan it and it will scan your face to match the picture on the id so nobody can steal and use it or even try to use it. if it's one person you just scan but if you bring a guess  you have to check in with the pool man And it's cameras so he could see everything. We scanned our pool id and it scanned our face to make sure it matched the picture on it. The gate unlocked then closed and I waited on bestie. It's on on each side but it would be faster if she just went after me. After she was in we put our shades on and found spot it was at the end and we were across from a group of boys, great I said to my self quietly. We sat our towels down in the chair and we sat at the edge just dipping our feets in. After awhile shantel wanted to get wet but didn't want to just go in cause the water be cold some times. She started doing handstands to slip in but she always scream and didn't do it drawing attention towards us. I stood up waiting for her to do it so I could push her in but I had to act like I was finna get on my phone. She did it again this time holding her legs up. I ran and pushed it lead her to fall in the water. "Ugh, you got my hair wet, your gonna pay for this, and I'm get pay back" she yelled and I judged laughed at her. I sat back down at the edge and she pulled my arm causeing me to fall in. "Your such a bitch for this" I said wiping water off my face with my hands. " well somebody had to get in with me" she said cause us to laugh cause she sounded like Kevin hart. We swam in the pool for a while before taking pictures of each other and with each other. I spotted kaleb talking to the group of boys across for us as we sat and absorbed the sun. "Girl I got to go, shad coming in a little" she said gathering her stuff. " tell him to come to the pool" I said shrugging. " girl no, he coming straight from work, you gone be good by yourself?" She said/ asked / making sure I'm good. "Yeah yeah" I said strolling through Twitter. She left and I just sat all alone. Watching others play/ talk with friends. I looked up from my phone to see that kaleb was talking to the group of boys across from me. I starred at him for at least five minutes before he turnt around pointing at something but seeing me as he turnt back around looking at his friends. He said something's to them and they all looked at me. I pretend that I was singing a song while make a snap chat video. I looked up and Omarion was looking at me. Omarion is somebody I use to talk to heavy, we had history but I'm over it all. Bestie claims he has me on lock but that's not the case but enough of my old love life or w.e you want to call it. Kaleb walked over to me smiling hard which caused me to smile. "Hey boo! Why you smiling so hard?" I asked curious with a smile on my face showing off my braces. "I seen you starring you could of waved or something" he said biting his lower lip. Y'all I don't know if it's just me or it's sexy when niggas lick or bit they lips, ugh hella heart eyes. I looked at the Fence to the left of me not wanting to make eye contact for a while. " come meet my friends" he said lightly pulling my arm making me get up from the pool chairs. We walked over to where his friends are. He still held my phone in his hand from help me up. "Ayyye, this alayisa, the girl I been tell y'all about" he said raping his left arm around my waist pulling me closer to him. " say hey lay stop acting shy" he said looking down at me as his arm went from around my waist to around my neck. I bit on my bottom lip as I look up at him. "Say hey" he repeated still looking at me. "Hey y'all" I said waving my hand. He put my phone in his pocket. Stepping behind me and he rapped both arms around my neck. " ugh where is my bestie when I need her most.... to save me" I thought to myself. "Well I have to go,  have to see what my chicklits doing" I said trying to get out of this awkward situation of standing with my crush and saying hey to Omarion the dude I use to go head over hills for. "Well can I at least take you on a date or something one day soon" he asked grabbing my arms as I was finna walk back to the chair I was at to get my stuff. " umm yeah, maybe you can come over later and we can get to know each other better. "Ok that's fine" he said letting go. I walked over to my chair getting my things before realizing he still had my phone. Ugh I had to go back over there. If he could barley hear what I say when I'm near him I know he nots gone be able to hear me from here. I walked mid way not seeing Kaleb in the spot he was in before. I was moving side to side to see if I could find him in the crowed of boys. I seen his swim shorts and he was standing in front of Omarion.... great. I walked over to Omarion tapping him to get his attention. "Excuse me" I said when he took out one ear phone and finally looked up from his phone. He moves out the way and I tapped kaleb for his attention. "Wassup shawty, you back already, naw I know why you back, you ain't had enough of seeing my 8 pack" he said grabbing my hand leading me mid in front of the boys. " ummm not quite, I mean it is a nice and it would be even nicer if the view was far" I said winking at him causing him to laugh witch made me giggle. " kaleb I need my phone so I can call you latter" I said reaching my hand out. "oh yeah" he said digging in his swim trunks pocket. After he put the phone in my hand I was finna walk off until he gently pulled my arm cause me to go back to where he was standing. " dang ma, you ain't gone give a nigga  a hug? Why you doing me dirty?" He said with his arms opened wide. "you ain't ask for a hug so you doing your self dirty" I said opening my arms. I rapped my arms around his neck as his arms went around my waste I looked to the right and Omarion and jay had a dumb ass look on their face. We hugged for..... feels like 5 minutes before going our separate ways. I opened to door to our apartment to see shantel turn her head  while seating on rashads lap. " umm no, what are y'all doing? No lovey dovey on the couch, you save that for the bedroom" I said walking towards the stairs. When I got up stairs I grabbed my shower things and got in the shower. After 45 minutes of mini concerts and scrubbing my body I got out and got dressed. In the mix of getting ready I was having more mini concerts while I'm dancing looking at my reflection in the mirror as I sing along to songs. After getting dressed I went down stairs to the kitchen and grabbed some chips heading back up the stairs to my room to hit up kaleb so we can chat to get to know each other more. I texted kaleb then put my phone on the charger as I watched "Moana for the millionth time since it came out. It was only four o'clock in the afternoon so even if he were to come over it would give me time get dressed.
