Sakshi and Kaira!!!

After 15 years...

Karthik and Naira were living with their princess Sakshi and Manish. Keerthi and Naksh had been married and had a 13 year old son Karan.

Sakshi was the apple of her eyes of her parent's eyes. Karthik adored his princess and never had even raised his voice at her. Naira on the other hand was stern yet loved her daughter very much and guided her in every small aspect. Sakshi just adored her parents.

She was the right mix of Karthik and Naira; the courage and good heart of Naira along with intellect, chirpiness and caring of her father. Yeah, should I mention? Sakshi loves kachori and is a foodie just like her father and a brilliant dancer like her mother. Being the princess of the family, she was protected by one and all, including Karan, who was younger than her.

It was Sakshi's fifteenth birthday. She woke up at midnight and walked to her parent's room.

Karthik and Naira were still awake, catching up with office work. Though Naira had a dance academy, she worked for the Goenka Group also, while Keerthi worked for the Singhania Diamonds.

"Naira?" Karthik called as she looked up from her laptop, only to be kissed by her husband on her cheek " I love you" he told looking into her eyes

"Hello, I have work and no time to romance. By the way you are almost 40 years old mendak."

"If I am 40, you are 38, you will be 40 in 2 years" Karthik stuck out his tongue and turned away his face

" 40, 60, 80 or 100, you will always be my Mendak" Naira told turning his face and leaning  on him

"Madam got into romantic mood now" Karthik asked her teasingly

"ACHA!!!. I came here to make sure I get wished by you both first and you are romancing? Very bad Papa and Mumma" Sakshi giggled standing outside the door.

Naira ran to her daughter, cupped her face and hugged her "Happy Birthday Sakshi. I cannot believe my baby is 15 years old and is all grown up. I love you so much Sakshi"

"Hello? " Karthik chirped in " I love Sakshi more than you. She is my princess"

Karthik knelt down in front of her daughter and kissed her forehead "Happy Birthday princess. I am proud of you always and shall always love you"

"Papa, Mumma, please bless me. I love you both" Sakshi told and took blessings from her parents.

Karthik and Naira could not have been happier and proud of their daughter who was broad minded yet was nurtured with family values.

"OK, now is the time to go and attend the calls of my friends. As always, I wanted to take wishes from you both first. Good night, continue you romance" Sakshi laughed and ran away.

Karthik and Naira went back to their bed.

"Who do you love more Karthik? Me or Sakshi" Naira asked with a cute pout on her face

"What kind of a question is this? Obviously I love Sakshi more than you" Karthik told her hiding his laughter

"I hate you Karthik, don't talk to me" Naira told and pushed him away

Karthik caught her hand and pulled her towards him. He held her face and pushed away the strands of hair falling into her eyes

"I love you both above my life. If it was not for you, I would have never had my princess. How do you think I would love you any less than her" Karthik asked her looking into her eyes

"I love you Karthik" Naira told

"I love you more" Karthik replied as they hugged each other and slept

Sakshi's birthday was full of surprises from her family. The entire Singhanias and Maheswaris were there at Kaira's home. They had a grand lunch and while the elders were talking about business affairs, the youngsters were having fun, especially pulling Mishti's l leg who was about to be married

"Nani, can you make me Laddoos today" Sakshi asked Akshara who melted at her granddaughter immedietly.

"Of course beta" Askahara chirped.

Naitik had given his granddaughter a necklace, while Keethi and Naksh presented her with a watch.

"Mumma, Papa, when are you giving me my gift" Sakshi demanded

Karthik signed to Naira, who came with a box

"Sakshi, this is something which you were asking since you were ten, but we did not give it to you then. But now I want you to have it" Karthik told as they unveiled the present.

It was a brand new mobile

" Wow!!!thank you Papa!!!! " Sakshi screamed

"Princess, now that you have your own mobile, you are free to use it as you wish. But you must use it in the proper way. Mumma and I trust you a lot which is why we have made your wish come true" Karthik told his daughter

"Papa, I shall make you proud one day Papa. I shall make both of you proud and never misuse the trust you both have on me. I am your daughter " Sakshi told as Naira got emotional and hugged her child tight.

The calling bell rang and Kaira went to open it with Mishti trailing behind her. She was shocked at who it was outside.

"Dadi" she said shocked as all could Mishti say was "Papa?"

Kamya and Naman were standing outside with folded hands and heads to the ground

Hearing them, the others came to the hall and were shocked.

The first to react was Manish who shouted "Who are you ?Why have you come here?"

Naira went to her father in law and pacified him. " Let them come inside Papa" she tolda and said "Please come in"

However Kamya and Naman stood outside.

"I know I am not fit for asking sorry. But please forgive me. I did not come here to be with y you, but wanted to ask for forgiveness from you all. And I mean it." Kamya told

Bhaiya, Bhabhi, Naira, Karishma, Mishti and all of you " I am really sorry. I feel disgusted with myself.' Naman told and broke down.

While everyone was shocked to react, it was Naira who spoke first

"I think we should accept them. They did a mistake, they have served their punishment for it, now it is the time to give them a chance" she said and looked at Karthik who nodded in agreement.

"Please come in" he told.

The days rolled by. Though initially Karthik and Manish did not appreciate Kamya, slowly she showed them how she had reformed and within a year they both had accepted them

"Thank you Naira, thank you for making my family complete" Karthik told her " I love you"

"I love you more" Naira replied with a wink on her face
