So, what did you guys want to talk about?' I sighed.
Maddie and Lauren exchanged looks.
'Don't look so surprised,' I giggled. 'Whenever Maddie doesn't ask me where I want to go before it's decided, I know you're up to something.'
'You are annoyingly clever,' Maddie sighed. 'Fine. There is something I - we want to talk about.' She glanced at lauren, who nodded. 'Johnny is worried that he scared you off on your date,' explained Lauren. I felt my cheeks heating up.
'Aw, she's blushing,' laughed Maddie.
'Not helping mads,' Lauren muttered. I couldn't help it. I burst out laughing. My sister and my best friend looked at me, confused. I just kept on laughing.
'What a maniac,' said my sister, rolling her eyes.
'Are you alright kenz,' giggled Lauren.
Eventually I stopped laughing, and they both rolled their eyes this time. 'Idiot,' they said simultaneously.
'What were you saying?' I managed to say.
'Basically we need you to make Johnny realise he hasn't scared you away. So just, like, ask him on a date or something.' Said Lauren.
'You needed to arrange all this to tell me to do what I'm already planning to do?' I raised an eyebrow.
