Where the Rainbow Ends

Chapter 7

Ok. I feel really guilty about this one because first of all I don't know why she's crying. Second of all, if it's about the problem between us then this will make it a whole lot worse.

What have you done Sapphire?! You know Amethyst is sensitive and all that?

I sighed. I went back to my house, greeted my mom and went upstairs to go to my room. Now I know my mom will ask me how are you feeling because of the way I just entered. But I'm not in the mood to be open to her right now. I'll just tell her when I'm feeling better.

Which will never happen.

I just hope that tomorrow will be a splendid day.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm beeping.

Yup.

I slowly sat up and rubbed my sleepy eyes. "Ugh." I groaned. If you're wondering why I'm up early, well it's because I need to complete and organize my files for the enrollment.

"How can I even?! This is so harrrrrrd!!!" I buried my head in my hands. I have to get this all done by Monday and there's still so much to do! I groaned.

Suddenly my door opened. "Dear? Why are you up so early?" I suddenly turned my head to the direction of my mom's voice.

"Oh um, it's because of my papers for the enrollment of Celestia's Magic School remember?" My mom suddenly smiled. "Well you go and fix those pesky stuff. If you need my help I'm always here ok?"

"Ok mom." She closed the door gently and I went back to sulking. "I think... I really need your help about my friendship problem."

When I finished organizing my papers I put them all in one clear folder. I grabbed some masking tape, wrote: 'Sapphire's Papers for Enrollment'. I broke the piece of tape where those words were written and put it gently on the clear folder where my papers were.

Well you've got that covered, now you better cover another one.

I put the folder inside my desks drawer and locked it. I have a key for everything you know. Not all of it actually just a few for important ones. I put the key on my key rack and went downstairs to meet my mom for breakfast.

"Oh hi there Sapphire! Um are you alright?" I nodded my head. After a few moments of silence I finally shook my head. "I just don't feel well you know?"

My mom nodded. "I understand dear. But can you please let me know what's bothering you?" I reached the stool by the table and sat down.

My mom got a mug and made a chocoltae drink for me. When she was done with that she got a slice of bread along with a butter knife to spread the filling on it. She then finished it off by putting it on a medium plate then she put everything in front of me.

I began munching on my bread.

A moment of silence passed (because we were eating) before my mom spoke up. "So uhm, dear how are you doing?" I looked at her and sighed. "I talked to Princess Twilight and told her about the problem. She told me just say a meaningful sorry then you'll be fine. But I think there's more than that."

She nodded. By the look of that she understands me because you can't just say sorry to somepony then you'll both be fine.

I guess I have to make it up to her by doing  what's right with my actions. Because you have to prove that you're sorry by not only speaking.

Well that doesn't make much sense if you think about it but I needed it. And it actually worked so... yeah.

"You know..." my mom said. "You better apologize to your friend because... you'll face more challenges than this. Something more complex and puzzling." I nodded. Mom was right. This is just a minor problem why are we even thinking about it too much?!

"Well if you say so mom. I'll apologize to her NOW." My mom smiled. She does understand me. Moms are helpful. I'm not saying dads are not help- "Now what are you staring at now again?" I shook my head. I zoned out again.

"N-Nothing mom. Its normal. I zone out like almost everytime." My mom laughed. And that actually lightened up the mood. I'm glad she was here.

I hurriedly went upstairs to think of something.

I finally thought of something.

I hurriedly got some construction paper and a few marerials. And spent the whole day making it.

I just hope she'll love it.
