The Death of Chat Noir-Miraculous Ladybug Fanfiction

Normal Morning

"Oh no! Late again?! Great going, Marinette! You spend one night patrol with Chat, and now late for school in the morning!"

Marinette rushed past a person on their phone and practically leapt up the stairs. She felt proud of herself because she didn't trip yet, but of course she would eventually. In front of Adrien or Chloe nonetheless.

Yep. Normal Morning.

Marinette scrambled up the stairs and jumped into the classroom just as the bell went off. The teacher smiled. "Don't worry, Marinette. That doesn't count as late for class." She turned back to the students in the classroom.

Marinette breathed a sigh of relief. She walked up to her seat next to Alya. Her friend raised her eyebrow. "What's the excuse this time?"

Marinette slumped into her seat. "Had an all-nighter. I was working on a project for Manon. Her cousin is getting married, and her mom asked for a dress. Manon's going to be flower girl."

Alya nodded. "I think that's a real excuse." Marinette grinned. "Trust me. That was a real excuse. This time it was anyway," Alya crossed her arms and smirked.

"Let me guess, all of the other excuses were fake, and you're Ladybug?" She questioned. Marinette laughed, hiding her nervousness. "I think I would be less awkward if I was Ladybug."

Alya shrugged and the class started.

Marinette left the classroom as lunch break started. Alya was next to her rambling on and on about Ladybug. Again.

Marinette almost fell down when she let out a squeal of excitement. Alya jumped up and down with excitement. "Oh my gosh, Marinette! I need to go!" She ran down down stairs in front of the school building.

Marinette had to sprint to catch up with her. "What is it, Alya? Is it an akuma attack?" Not that I need one of those right now. The black-haired girl almost ran into a lamp post. The two slowed down.

"No, girl! There's a fire on the block after this! I bet Ladybug is going to be there! I am not missing this!" Alya ran very fast to the next block . Marinette sighed.

Tikki flew out of Marinette's satchel. "Well, better catch up with her before she kills herself. I had to save her last time." Marinette grumbled.

The last akuma attack was a zoologist who could control other animals. (Totally not Animan) A male lion almost bit her in the shoulder, but luckily Marinette pulled her out of the way before she was cat food.

Nino was a little mad. Just a little.

Marinette and Tikki watched as sirens blared and fire trucks raced by. Tikki put her hands on her ears.

"Wee!"

Marinette turned as Chat Noir extended his staff and jumped into the fray of now police cars, ambulances, and fire trucks. She face palmed.

Tikki shook her head. "I know his kwami," She grumbled. "Seems like his personality rubbed off on him."

Marinette shrugged and grinned. "Enough talk. Let's make sure he doesn't kill himself." Quickly the girl ran into an alley.
She crouched down and Tikki smiled at her.

"Tikki, spots on!"

Chat Noir landed on a building near the fire. He looked around.

"Tch. M'lady is late. Unusual. Guess I have to do this by mYSE-E-E-ELF!" Chat was pulled back by his tail off the building.

He looked back to see Ladybug holding his tail. He grinned. "There you are m'lady! Um, can you pull me back up now?"

Ladybug smiled. "Of course." She mused. She gave a quick yank of his tail and Chat Noir landed on the roof.

"Aha, back in business. So, they can handle the fire,"-he pointed at the firemen, police, and hospital staff-"but we have the job of getting the trapped people out."

Ladybug nodded. "That sounds about right. If there people trapped in the building though, we need to think of a plan, fast." She looked at the building.

"Chat, about how much of this building is still stable?" She questioned. Chat Noir examined the building.

"Hmm, hard to say, m'lady. The fire started unexpectedly about a half hour ago. The firemen only came recently. Most of the fire spread from the top, so that must be the source." He explained. "The building on fire was a gift shop for tourists, with a restaurant underneath. I think I've been there before, in civilian form of course."

Ladybug nodded. "Ok, so the fire started in the gift shop. We should start top to bottom. Make sure to be careful where you step, though, Chat Noir. Don't rush. The fire is spreading fairly slow."

Chat held his staff confidently and expectedly. Ladybug smiled.

"Let's save some civilians."

Yes, yes the chapters are short. I am sorry. Writer's Block is a curse. But please cut me some slack!(the people who are actually reading this)
