Chapter 24

"Hi Kiku, did you have a nice break?" I asked as Kiku entered the hospital room.

"Yes, yes I did Luna." Kiku responded back to me.

"What did you do?"

"Oh I went and checked on a couple of patients."

"Really?"

"Yeah Vlad was one of them."

"Oh... how's he doing?" I said kind of disappointed ( mainly cause I'm still mad at him.)

"He's doing good, also he's showing some improvement. Although I'm not sure when he'll recover from the a coma."

"Oh OK."

"Yeah, well after I checked up on him, I decided to talk to him."

"Really? Why?"

"Well some of it was for personal reasons and also because I was curious about some things."

"Is that so, like what?"

"Well I asked him why he attacked you and he told me a reasonable answer."

"Really what is it!" I said excitedly.

"Well he didn't want me to tell you, he wants to tell you himself, but he's not ready yet."

"What! That's not fair, he's being unreasonable."

"No, he's acting like most boys do at his age. Which is being too shy to tell people that they care about how they feel."

"Really? So your saying that Vlad cares about me? Would that be the reason why he made up all that stuff?"

"Yeah I guess you can put it that way."

"Well I find that interesting. Anyways what else did you ask him?"

"Like I said before, its personal."

Oh OK." I said disappointedly.

"Well I think we should start working on finishing getting the curse removed from your back now."Kiku responded to me right as I was going to ask him about the reason why he didn't want to tell me the other thing he asked Vlad. "OK. Wait....what do you mean finish removing the curse from my back?" I asked in a shocked voice. Kiku just smirked at me and said, "This will be the last time I will work on your back, after this, I will be able to see if your back has healed. Then I will work on your injured leg and arm, (they were effected by the curse as well) it won't take as long as your back."

"Ok then, by the way what time is it? I asked because I started to feel a bit sleepy and also wanted to know how long it had been since I came here.

"It's 1:00 in the morning." Kiku stated and then yawned.

"Really? It's that late? Wow, I've been here for like 7 hours at the most (my appointment was at 5:00 p.m.)" I said.

"Yeah... it's that late and to be honest, I'm going home after I'm done with removing the curse, because I need some sleep." Kiku said and then yawned again.

  "Ok I understand that." I said to him as I cheered in my head, because that meant; I could sneak into Vlad's room after he left to go home. "Thanks" Kiku said and then smiled at me, which brought me out of my thoughts. Then after he said that, he started to work on my back. While he did that, I went back to thinking about how I was going to sneak into Vlad's room with out anyone noticing me. After much thought about it, I  came to the conclusion that since I couldn't come up with anything other than the fact  that after Kiku would leave the room that I would wait for 30 minutes before I left my room, that I would just I plan everything as I was going to sneak into Vlad's room. Right after I came to this conclusion, Kiku stopped working on my back and said, "OK, the curse on your back has been removed."

"How do you know that?" I replied.

"Because when I got closer to getting rid of the curse; I saw that some of the bruises and that gash on your shoulder start to heal." Kiku said.

"Oh, well then that's good." I replied back.

"Yes it is, but the wound on your shoulder is still there, so I will need to bandage that up."

   "Alright." Then Kiku bandaged me up and then told me that I should get some rest. Then he turned and made his way out of the room and then left, closing the door behind him. Once he was gone, I sat there and waited for a while until I thought it was safe to sneak out of my room into Vlad's. Once I was out of my room and in the hallway, I saw a nurse coming  around the corner and then walking down the same hallway as me. Seeing this made me panic, but for some reason the nurse didn't seem to notice me, not only that, but she even walked passed me as if I wasn't there. This confused me a bit, but the weird thing was that I had this feeling to look at my body. So I did, and found out that I couldn't see myself. This shocked me greatly; for the fact that I was invisible and didn't know how I made myself invisible in the first place. So I decided that I would ask Vlad what he thought of it once I got into his room.

So I walked to his room and reached for the door knob, to find that I could see my hand again, which confused me on how I was able to go from being invisible to not being invisible, but I decided to not think of it that much. Then I turned the door knob and opened the door. As I walked into the room, I heard a gruff voice say, "Hello Luna." Hearing this made me jump as I saw a wide awake Vlad sitting up in his hospital bed.
