Blue Envy

Prologue

Osomatsu yawned before scanning around the living room,
"Hey, has anyone seen Painfulmatsu around?"
His four present brothers all turned their heads to each other, then at Osomatsu, and shook their heads 'no'.
Osomatsu shrugged with a small 'oh well', before going back to his manga, but a certain purple matsuno couldn't help but feel an uneasy feeling flood him.
Call it brotherly instinct.
It was not known for the blue brother to disappear unannounced, so he hopped up to his feet and started to put his shoes on.
"Hey Nii-San, what are you doing?" Totty inquired, Ichimatsu shrugged and muttered something about cats, that was a lie though.
He was going to go find their shitty Karamatsu.

Ichimatsu trudged along the empty streets, the only source of guidance being the dim, worn out street lights, he shivered at the night breeze and tugged his face mask over his face, after what seemed like hours he caught a glimpse of a familiar blue sweater, he quickened his steps, careful not to make his steps too loud, his brother seemed to be thinking and he does not want to make his presence known just yet.

"Hey Kusomatsu.." He spoke, Karamatsu flinched and jumped away from him, Ichimatsu tilted his head. 'Why is he looking so paranoid?' Ichimatsu thought to himself, Karamatsu straightened out his posture and gave a small glare to his younger brother.
"What are you doing here Ichimatsu...?" His tone dropped down to his original deep voice, there was no poetic tone, nor a narcissistic grin present, Ichimatsu's brows immediately furrowed.
"I was looking for you... The others are worried" 'I am too' "Let's go home.." He tugged on his sweater harshly.

Karamatsu swatted it away.

"Ow! Kusomatsu what's your problem?!" He fumed, clutching the slapped hand. Karamatsu gazed past him,
"I'm not going home with the likes of you.." He spat, his usually soothing voice was poisoned with a familiar venomous tone he used to use.
Ichimatsu visibly flinched and stared at his brother dumbfounded, he couldn't do anything as the blue matsu brushed past him with much more force than needed, he continued to stare at the place his brother once was.
Only then did he notice that his older brother was standing at the edge of the river bank.
Ichimatsu felt his eyes sting.

What just happened?

Karamatsu has not been seen since that night, Ichimatsu kept his encounter a secret, he wasn't sure if he should tell the other brothers, who were only slightly panicking..
