PROLOGUE

Bianca Drake ran from home, screaming, trying to get away from someone she once love. Someone she used to think was innocent. But since the accident, nothing was the same.

She heard footsteps behind her. The killer was close behind her. Bianca ran faster, getting leaves stuck in her long brown hair. She tried to keep quiet, but could not stop sobbing. She couldn't deal with the fact that this was happening.

She was panting so hard, and felt that her lungs were going to burst. But she kept on running.

Her legs burned. Shepherd twigs snapping and dry leaves crunching behind her. She stumbled but quickly steadied herself. She ran even faster, knowing the enemy was closing in. Almost there, she thought.

Her vision blurred and her legs collapsed from under her. The last think she saw was a pair of icy blue eyes, and everything went dark.
