*Flashback*

"No!" I scream. I was watching my own parents being attacked by a swarm of zombies. I ran and ran until I found a little abandoned house.

I ran towards it and turned the doorknob. Luckily it opened. I ran inside and locked the door behind me as I slid down the door crying and breathing hard.

"I'm so scared." I whispered and wiped away my tears. I finally calmed down and stood up. Its not a great house but it will have to do.

*End Of Flashback*

I'm now 16 years old. Still at the abandoned but now occupied house. I learned how to shoot a gun by myself. I am on my own now.

I am surviving the best that I can. When I go out I can't relax like a person should be able to. I have to bring a gun and pocket knife everywhere I go. Always being surrounded by filthy creatures.

There's no escape. I think i'm the only survivor. For now at least. I can't sleep at night because of the loud noises of zombies that could attack at anytime.

I'm not safe at all. I barely eat but when I do its only a little bit. I save some for later. Ever since the sudden outburst of zombies the food and everything was destroyed.

Ever since my parents died I always tell myself if there's a survivor I will protect them with my life. I wouldn't be able to take seeing another helpless human being being eaten alive by a flesh eating zombie.

I wish my parents were here to tell me everything would be okay. But they aren't so I have to stay strong.

I'll be dead one of these days and I will finally be able to see my parents again. I can't wait.
