Beginnings

Love is strong. Strong in our hearts and mind. With love you can do amazing things. Without it, your broken. Or at least that's what his mother told him. And he believed it! Even from a distance Lucas could see his beautiful purple/crimson eyes. He himself was beautiful. Ness, Lucas' one and only. Lucas admired Ness soooo much. It was kind of scary what he would do for his love. Of course, Lucas being the little shy kid who sat in the back of class never told his love this. Because Ness was with someone else. Paula. A little rich kid who followed Ness and saved the world. Jokes on her, he also saved the world. But no, he never told Ness and just admired him from afar. It hurt. Ness was outside his house with Paula. They were going to see a movie. Wish I could go see a movie with him....and hold hands....and...and....shaking his head Lucas sighed. Then he felt a sting in his head and almost fell over screaming. Gently placing a hand where the pain was worst Lucas winced. You see Lucas and Ness have a strong connection to each other. They always knew where the other was, knew what they were feeling, and if close enough could read the other's thoughts. They could also dream visit. Which made Lucas feel giddy and happy, not to mention shy, when Ness came into his dreams. At the moment Ness was clearly angry and annoyed. When he was sad or mad or annoyed, Lucas felt pain. When he was happy excited or enjoying life, Lucas felt like he could fly. And he could, but that's not the point. The point is, they were close, but not lovers. Oh Lucas wished they were. Ness and Lucas were neighbors so they could see each other through there windows. He could hear Paula yelling. "NO! I WANNA SEE A ROMANCE NOT SOME SILLY BASEBALL MOVIE!" This annoyed Ness and he rubbed his face. "And the only romance out is, 'When hearts collide'. Which isn't a good movie mind you." You could basically see steam coming out of Paula's ears. "HAVE YOU SEEN IT?! NO! THEN LET'S GO SEE IT!! OR I'LL TELL MY DADDY!!" Ness crossed his arms and sighed. "Fine, let's go see your silly little movie." He said groaning. Paula clapped her hands and yanked Ness towards the theater. They had to go pass Lucas' house to get there. Lucas didn't know why, but Paula hated him. Maybe she knew Lucas liked Ness. Or maybe she just hates anyone who speaks with Ness that she didn't know. Being popular and the cool kid, she didn't know Lucas. Ness must of sensed me near because he looked up to see me peeking out my window at them. He waved and made a tear motion under his eye poking out his bottom lip. Lucas couldn't help but giggle. Paula saw what Ness was doing and looked up at my window to. "What are you doing you STALKER!! Ness make him STOP staring at ME." She whined. Looking rather confused Ness looked back at her. "But he's not staring at you. If you forgot he's my friend. And a good one." Lucas smiled and made an 'oh you' motion. Paula glared at me. "The only friends you need are Jeff and Poo, and me of course!" She said with a tinkly laugh. "If he's your "friend" he's mostly likely using you to get close to me." The thought of that made me wanna puke. "Uh..." Lucas said. Ness and Paula looked up at me again. "I don't find you interesting in any way, shape, or form." He mumbled. Paula's eyes widened and she stomped away basically hissing, dragging Ness away with her. Not before Ness sent him a, Nice one Lucas! And Lucas sent back, I. Hate. Her. A chuckle sounded in his head which made Lucas feel faint. Oooh he loved Ness' laugh. I know you do. Ness said and then there connection was cut off because Paula had made it to the theater. For a moment Lucas was confused. Did he mean i know you hate her or I know you love my laugh? Lucas thought closing his window. A long time ago Lucas gave Ness a key to his windows, in case he needed a place to stay. Climbing onto his bed, Lucas opened up his sketchbook. If you asked Lucas, he was okay with art, but others said he was amazing and his art needs to be shown to the world. Mostly he drew flowers, sunflowers to the honest but others were in there. In the back were drawing of, you guessed it, Ness. Lucas started to sketch a new drawing of Ness sitting playing with his yo-yo. Holding his sketchpad to his chest Lucas sighed. He loved Ness. He was so strong, and gently, and kind, and loving. What was there not to love? And he was strong like Lucas. Ness had the strongest PSI power out of anyone in the world. But he didn't have PK LOVE, which was something Lucas had, and it was just as strong as Ness. Not to mention his adorable hat. He always turned it sideways, which made him even more adorable. "Lucas GO TO SLEEP!" His dad yelled, making Lucas flinch. He was drunk....again. But Lucas pulled his blankets over him and closed his eyes. It wasn't long before Lucas fell asleep. He dreamed about, you already know, Ness.
