Ellie and I Part 10

After the kiss, Ellie and I have been doing great as an "undercover couple" as Sarah likes to call it.

I still haven't confessed to my family about my sexuality even after a whole month. Ive thought about doing it once but when I did, I kept on thinking about the worse possible outcomes. It was like my body was ready to tell them but my mind was crying for me to not.

I was worried if my parents didn't approve of it they would kick me out or call me a disgrace.

Even worse, I would never live a normal life.

But that silver lining that dimmed in my mind made me believe that, maybe, just maybe they would accept it and love me for who I am.

Just to confirm, Ellie's parents also don't know about her sexuality.

Last week she told me that she told her parents that she wanted to transfer schools not because of the bullies but because of the lack of education she got from Wilson High. This was obviously a lie but she didn't want them to know that she was being bullied because she was a lesbian.

We talked about once High School was over we would confess to our parents and if they were angry, we would run away together. If that were to ever happen, I got some part time job applications so I could save some money for us to at least survive. I got my license a few weeks ago so that would be useful as a way to run away.

The only thing I don't want is for Ellie to get hurt, physically or emotionally.

She was the only reason I kept going.

Mr. Birche is teaching us about Evolution and how fascinating the many theories that past scientists have come up with.

I GUESS this topic is interesting...

"Here is Darwin's theory..." Mr. Birche says.

I look over to Ellie.

Shes lying on her arm with her eyes closed.

Aww, She must be sleeping.

Hehe, must take advantage of this.

I reach over and push her arm,

Making her head fall.

"Shit!" Ellie yells.

Everyone turns quiet.

"Zus, shitzus are my, favorite breed of... Dog..." Ellie says blushing.

I cover my face on my desk and laugh hard.

Everyone starts to laugh.

"Fascinating Ellie, now please mind your language" Mr. Birche says continuing his presentation.

I bring my head back up and wipe off the tears of laughter.

"Nice save" I say continuing to laugh a little.

"You are such an ass Shay" Ellie says.

But as she looks at me she smiles.

"Are you crying?" Ellie asks.

"Im crying of laughter" I say continuing to wipe my tears.

She punches my arm.

"Im so getting you back for this" she says.

...Class finally ends...

Sarah and Mark are ditching basketball practice because its their 5 month anniversary. So Ellie and I are walking to practice together.
