"Are you afraid of me?"

His tone hit a nerve, but she shook her head fiercely. "No,not at all. Should I, do you bite?"

He chuckled darkly, "I don't bite, I'm not a fucking vampire. I should be glad that you're not afraid of me but I'm not because I'm not good company to keep..........and you should know that."

" I don't care if you're good company or not. I enjoy you being here. It's usually the highlight of my day." she admitted with a small smile.

He smiled, a real smile." I'm the highlight of your day..that's good to hear. To tell you the truth...you're the only reason I'm here..working.." he grasped her fingers, "I would have stopped coming after the first day if you weren't there."

Tears stained her eyes,"Your smile is so........amazing. And that is a good reason."

Then she laughed, wiping away her tears of happiness.

A faint blush warmed his cheeks, "And you're crying because......?"

"Because, you smiled. You were here for 3 months and you never ever smiled. It was always a smirk. But today,...today you smile and i feel wonderful."

He was flushed red."Stop ..........complimenting me...you're making me feel weird," he glanced their fingers intertwined , "I never felt like this before....I mean I ....love you."

She giggled," I love you too...Will."

His eyes met her own,"I never told you my real....name."

"I've known since November third darling."

Before he could respond, her lips were on his. He wrapped a hand around her waist and cupped her face with the other.

He wanted her.

He wanted her so bad but he could never have her because as soon as she pulled away and muttered those words.

"You're free."

She disappeared into thin air.
