In Search Of The Elusive Mermaid

CHAPTER 2/REVELATIONS

Samuel was out of his house with a mission in mind....he kissed his mother goodbye and brushed off all his negative pass behind him and focus on his new quest....he headed for the police station...his uncle Robert worked there...he was feeling excited for now his life had a purpose...he strongly felt that he should expose this thing...mermaid or mermaids...that could be taking people and no one even considered that it could be creatures from the sea taking their love ones....as he reached the station his uncle greeted him with a smile...Hey Sammy...how the gomma....he joked....Samuel ignored the comment and proceeded to ask his uncle for a favor....to look through the files of missing persons in the area....his uncle was a little inquisitive...and was wondering why...Samuel....asked for patience and that he will explain later but to please let him see those files......Robert led him to a back room and soon put a bunch of files in front of him.....There you go....he said...have fun

This is how a quest begins folks....research...be patient...it might get a little boring but bare with me.......he took out his journal and labeled it......LOST AT SEA........He was reading the facts and statements of witnesses...he was looking for any mention of a mermaid....he wrote down some name of some people he knew at the top of his head....maybe they could lead him in the right direction....He kept reading....there was a case of the Corea Siblings.....where for some reason they were quarreling...drunk by the sea side....the statement of the brother was this.....I pushed him in the water because he was harassing me for no reason.....I swear it was not deep waters because I saw him standing and was walking out.....as I turned to walk away...I heard him yelled out something....when I turned it seemed like he was wrestling with something in the water I ran in the water to help him but he went under quick and i could not get a hold of him

Samuel knew about this case they were both his personal friends...what he could gather was that the brother was arrested but was soon released for his brother's body was never found....he wrote in his journal...'see Jose Corea'....He continued to go through the files slowly...the ones that occurred inland he put aside....then...the case of a child that drowned at sea....this caught his eye mainly because in the statement someone mentioned a mermaid...he started to read...Statement Don Carlos Arias.....I was taking care of my grandchild...On Tuesday 16th....of September...1997...it was early in the morning...we were walking by the seashore...he was throwing rocks in the sea...he walked in the water to retrieve a floating object.....and something seemed to grabbed him and was taking him out to sea I ran after him and took hold of his hand as we under....I held on tight until this thing let him go it looked like a mermaid....but whatever it was...it was too late for the boy....he had already swallowed too much water 

Sam wrote in his journal...'see Don Carlos Arias'....and so it went file after file of people disappearing mysteriously at sea...soon he was seeing a pattern....all the incidents seems to be happening in this area....his town and the other that followed north of here.....these thing were using this area as their hunting or feeding grounds.....where can these creatures live....he wondered if maybe...just maybe they had their nest of dwelling around here somewhere...he got up picked up his journal....gave thanks to his uncle and walked outside....he was thinking that he needed a second person to joined him in his quest....but who? then he thought of Jose Corea the remaining brother am sure he might want some payback......
