Chapter Four - Departure & Arrival

The next morning was filled with chaos as I opened my eyes to the same ceiling I had closed them to just a few hours ago. I stared at the same boring ceiling for what could be the last time in a long time I felt my eyes sting as if a cloud of smoke had just blown into them, I didn't want to go I didn't want to leave my friends, my brother or my home I wanted to stay but this was something that I had to do and had to bare for a little while so that I could come back and maybe just maybe return to the way things had always been.

"It should be illegal to wake up this early!" whined Gina as she rolled off the mattress and onto the floor, "Ugh!" she whined loudly as she gathered herself finally getting up on her feet.

"Why couldn't they book a later flight?" she pouted as she kicked aside Kevin's shoes picking up her bag off the floor and tossing it over her shoulder just as I felt Tesla whine and mumble as she tossed over in her sleep.

God, she slept like a rock, I thought to myself before returning my attention back to Gina, "I don't know something about wanting me there by dinner time" I muttered as I pulled the covers off before getting off the mattress.

"Stupid danish" muttered Gina as she marched into my bathroom shutting the door behind her. I shook my head wanting to laugh but didn't as I looked at the clock, it was three AM, we had only finally fallen asleep less than two hours ago God this was going to be the plane ride from hell to hell.

"Quit being such a child and get up," I said as I looked down at my brother and Tesla who were both still wrapped in the covers, "You guys my plane leaves in less than two hours you need to get your asses out of bed!" I shouted as I kicked Kevin repeatedly.

"Ah" he groaned as she rubbed his backside, "What!?" he whined still with his eyes shut, "You're wrapped up in the covers with Tesla," I said giving it a moment or two to sink in, "Alone."

All that needed to be said was said and as fate would have it the moment Kevin opened his eyes is the very same moment in which Tesla opened hers and it only took one glance inches away from each other for the loudest most unpleasant screech to be heard throughout the town.

"What the hell were you trying to do!?" Shouted Tesla as she hurried out of bed snatching the covers with her just as Kevin pulled away at the same time stumbling his way off of the mattress only to almost trip on his own AC/DC pajama bottoms.

"Me?!" Shouted Kevin, "From my point of view it looked like you were trying to eat my face!" Shouted Kevin as he turned to face me with a frowned expression. "You know I feel a little violated," he said with a serious face just as Gina stepped out of the bathroom fully dressed.

"As if anyone would want to violate any part of you," said Gina as casual as ever while walking past the scene and towards her converse slipping them on.

"Like I'd ever want anything to do with you!" shouted Tesla as she gathered her bag and began her way towards my bathroom, "Don't even think about it," I said.

"If there is anyone getting into that shower it is me I'm the one with a plane to catch in less than two hours" I stated as I pulled her back by her shirt and walked past her, "Then where am I supposed to bathe?" she asked.

"I don't know, use Kevin's bathroom" was all I said before opening my bathroom door but I wasn't quick enough I still manage to hear the flawless sound of whining and refusal as Kevin let out a, 'Yeah right' followed by the sound of a slamming door.

I hadn't had much time to shower with the sound of Tesla's constant knocking asking if I was done yet so I caved stepping out of the shower way before my deserved time.
