Nerdy 1

"Nerdy! Nerdy!"

I tried not to remember the awful past, but it just kept on haunting me like a ghost. I massaged my temple carefully, showing annoyance.

As I carefully stood up from the wood and polished bench, I brushed my skirt to get rid of some dirt. I picked up my books that was sitting on the wood bench and headed to class.

As I was heading to class, some muscular jocks were playing football. Suddenly a football hit my face, bullseye as I must say. I touched my forehead which was stinging in pain.

"Bullseye! Nice one dude!" One of those jocks say, as he fist bumped the guy who hit my forehead.

"What is wrong with these people?" I muttered under my breath, and furrowed my brows in anger. I counted to ten until I calmed down, and tried to stand up.

"Awe. I'm sorry, is Miss Nerdy mad?" He said trying to imitate a crying baby. Bullies, they do what they want to do and doesn't care about people's feelings.

I picked up my books, and my glasses. Yet, another glasses broken by stupid people.

"Hey! Can you guys stop bullying her and mind your own business?" A guy suddenly said behind my back, which made me drop my jaw. It's been years since someone tried to help me like that.

I turned around and saw the most popular guy in school who can't be approached by people, because students said he's the son of the CEO in the richest corp!, Lucas Johnson. Holy schnitzel! I can't believe it!

"Pfft, You're no fun bro." They said and rolled their eyes.

And the jocks went away just like that! Amazing how a popular guy can do.

"Thank you so much!" I said and bowed as I smiled ear to ear.

"I didn't do it for you, I just felt bad. So don't think the wrong way." He said with a stern face and walked away. Ouch, I didn't think he was that kind of person.

Minutes passed after that happened and I arrived at my original class,

Since I have no friends here in the school, I sat alone in midst of the dark. They don't even know my name nor my past, they just bully me like a dog.

I tapped my pen showing boredom, since the teacher was late, I decided to doodle in my notebook.

"Nice drawing! What's your name? Mine is Luna." A girl spat beside me, whom I didn't notice because I was focused on my drawing.

"Eh? Um, m-my name is Myka. Nice to meet you?" I said, giving her a big smile.

"Yeah! Nice to meet you too, By the way, I'm Lucas' cousin.
Don't tell other people because they will probably get crazy!" She said, whispering the last sentence.

"Oh, um okay then." I said and continued doodling on my notebook. Awkward? I can't really have a conversations towards strangers. I just, get nervous I guess.

I looked around the classroom and saw Lucas. He's sitting alone, headphones in his ears and sleeping. Wow, I guess he doesn't really have friends?

"Sorry! Sorry! I'm Late!" The teacher suddenly burst in the room, which made some girls scream.

I sighed, "This is gonna be a long class." I muttered to myself as I drifted into my own world.
